I do not deny that the christian ronaldo is one great player, good looking and also the richest player but with his statement when his team against Dinamo Zagreb, my disgust for him become magnified when he says that the player Dinamo Zagreb just envy him because he is a great, rich and handsome..Oh My God...it`s ridiculous i think what does that mean he said this to fellow players who are looking for life by becoming a football player? you try to compare it with a Lionel Messi ... I think he's really a true athlete ... Although he was great, we rarely see him insulting or demeaning other players, because he realized that life is sometimes successful today, but tomorrow could be the people will forget you ... how do you think the statament ronaldo?

I read his statement too. And I'm not too surprised. He is handsome, rich, and talented. It is quite common in the West to say like that. But no in Indonesia. So I manage to dislike Ronaldo. It can be worst sample of how one can be so conceited after he has been famous and rich.

I personally do not prefer arrogant players. Especially those who allow their mouth do a lot of talking like Ronaldo. There is no doubting his footballing skills, but I definitely prefer humble players like Messi any day to Ronaldo. I think that is one of the reason why I rate Messi above Ronaldo. Cheers! Ram

should he insulted a fellow soccer player? if he did not realize before was recruited by MU, he was an ordinary young man who dreamed of becoming a great footballer? his behavior is really painful for the other football players whose salary is not as big as Ronaldo ...

I think Ronaldo answered like this when he was asked why is he always booed off, no matter on which stadium he plays. But the fact how he responded is full of shame, but if he really believes this, then it can be accepted as we have the right to say what we think. But we also have the right to love or hate this kind of statements and people who say this kind of stuff. I accept this if he that is what he really believes, but I hate him because he believes that way.

He can afford to be arrogant because he's really rich. Rich people are mostly arrogant, not forgetting he's also one of the best players in the world, after lionel messi. Comparing him to messi, soccer aside, ronaldo really beats messi hands down in everything. Arrogance won't last forever, so let him enjoy the limelight while he can, before things dimmed away in the next 2-3 years time.
