Where Is Everyone? No Responce Yet?

Hi Mylot community, have your ever been in that situation here or else where on any social networking site? I have been there and thank God I was not a newbie by then, I would have quit on that day. I felt so down in heart that I spent the rest of the day wondering why I did not have responses for my discussion. I learned my lessons not to expect a lot in anything I do but just to hope that it do bear fruits. What about you mylotters, any lesson learned from such a situation, let me and the world know about.

For me, I'll try not to expect anything from people, so I won't be disappointed.

Hi huilichan8, very true to say that disappointments are usual products of high expectations. Its cool to do and forget than to think how important whatever you did is, expecting to receive high appreciations- something that does not really matter in ones life..

Not to worry we all strike out evey once in a while. After all just think how many times you open your mouth and no one listens. Well the same thing happens when you write. And I sure hate it when it does. So join the club. Blessings

savypat, I'm already in the hood and have experienced such a pinch. You have said something that most of us ignore to think of when we write something,by comparing public speaking and starting a discussion in a social networking site, you opened my eyes to see things differently. I appreciate this, thank you friend.

Well, there have been many times even I as someone who has been here over 5 yrs. do not always get a quick response back to some of the discussions that I have started here. There are times when I feel most people must not notice the New discussion or not interested for sure. But personally I have never let it STOP me. I just continue to post here, and hope for the Best from there.

As you may be aware now, here, when it's the end of the month people tend to stop responding to discussions and making discussions and just relax. Once they've goten their threshold they relax until the next month where they work hard again to get the amount of money that they want and / or need.
There also seems to be a decrease in activity on the weekends sometimes. We are from all around the world as well so it depends on what time of the day it is for everyone in their countries as to who you will see online.
That goes for any social networking I would think.

I also experienced something like this before. I started a discussion and waited for a day but I didn't get a response. I really think that it depends on the topic of your discussion. If your discussion is too simple then many will respond to it. If it requires too much thinking, you'll get fewer responses.

I have some discussions that not body have answered, but I learnt about that.
And now I try to post discussions that not only me is interested, I post discussion that most of the people is affected of that.
And another thing is that I have leant to answer and express interest on the discussions of the others, so they feel like they should comment on mine too.
