Financial problems often takes its toll on me. Every time of dire need and I would ask cousins for loan I feel like a beggar. Most often, they will turn me down. So I only ask them when some of my friends who has loaning business has no available fund. Result, I'm deep in debt now. Sometimes I just want to cry due to frustration and depression.

More often than rarely I always have problem with money. There is just one rule I always tell myself and make a point of "donot loan money". It will only put you further in the ground. If it's not an emergency and you can afford not to loan then don't. I guess that is the best way to avoid being in that kind of situation.

it is truly depressing to feel like a beggar. but rejoice, you are not alone. i believe, strongly believe actually, that all things pass. but we have to do something about our situation. we do not brood on it.

First and foremost, I'd like to ask why you are borrowing money? Is it for business? or is it for daily needs? I for one am the type of person who doesn't like to loan money. I just feel that sometimes people don't understand that I can't afford to lend my money because it's either for emergency or for a project that I'd like to do someday. For those who'd borrow for business, I always make sure to check their ability to pay by lending a little then expecting to be paid promptly, if they fail to do so, that's the end of my lending them. However, if we're talking about borrowing for basic needs (like food) I usually don't lend. You see, these types of 'borrowings' have no returns in the end. They should have budgetted their money better because these 'daily needs' are there forever. Though I'm sad that you feel like a beggar, but it's tough if you're in their situation and you see someone who's constantly borrowing. You are not helping yourself if you always put yourself in that situation. Check your lifestyle, perhaps they don't think you are really having a difficult time because of what you are projecting to them. Perhaps you are giving too much to your family even if the income couldn't support it. Accept the fact that you need to trim down expenses or find other means of earning (not just you but the rest of the family as well). Don't get me wrong, I too have financial problems. Perhaps the main reason why I'm not that depressed is because I am doing something about it and my efforts would surely be rewarded. Have a great MyLot experience ahead.

I am sorry to hear that you are undergoing financial issues. I know what you mean in terms of being frustrated and depressed about having to figure out how to get by. It is hard to ask for help, but realistically if needing help means we need to ask it is better then stealing. So look at that way, if you are paying them back they should be understanding. However many people today are having so many financial issues that at times no matter how much they do want to help perhaps they can't. I do hope that your financial situation improves. Not sure what your schedule is like but maybe an additional part-time side job can help until you get on your feet.

Hi friend, cheer up.:) You may need other people's help at this time but someday, you will probably be the one to lend money to other people. Things will not always be bad. You will hv your breakthru' someday. Just believe it. There's power in what you believe.
