the US Space Agency stress that there was a very remote risk for the public to be afraid of the falling 26 pieces fragments of the UARS which will be expected to re enter the earth atmosphere in an unprecedented speed over Canada, Africa and of the Pacific, Atlantic and vast of the Indian Oceans. the debris is expected to touchdown between 11pm and 1am Friday. the more than two dozen part weigh between 2 kilograms and 158 kilograms as estimated..the falling area magnitude or the debris field where it will fall will have a range of about 800 kilometers..authorities from different countries have forewarned their people to stay indoors and in well supported part of their dwelling unit...with these info what can you say about their public advice that the the risk in our safety over this falling debris is very remote?

There is no risk at all now, because the satellite already came down. Unbelievably, they are still not certain exactly when or where but it seems to have been safely in the Pacific ocean. At least one member of MyLot reported seeing it fall.
The Search engines are still full of old news. Here is the latest report from NASA: http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/uars/index.html
The risk of any debris actually harming anyone was put at 1 in 3,200, which was lower than NASA would have liked but still extremely unlikely. In the event, it apparently fell in the ocean, which is far less heavily populated than the land.
