We're looking at doing something where everyone can participate and everyone can add their point of view in case the photographer doesn't get it.

We did it and got our cameras through My Wedding Favors (www.myweddingfavors.com/wedding-cameras.html). We LOVED that they fit well with our decorations and didn't look like we picked them up at the pharmacy store right before. We also loved that it gave everyone a chance to participate in our big day by reading the instructions on the table that came with the camera. Now we decided to be frugal by only having one camera per couple/family. But we're lucky we didn't have to throw away more than we did. Some of them turned out blurry by kids getting ahold of them - but only a few :) good luck!

Wonderful Idea Samantha! Thanks for sharing that information. It adds a touch of class to the fun of snapping pictures at the wedding! I have been to a number of weddings where at the reception/dinner cameras were placed on the table for the guests to have fun taking pictures. I have seen some of the pictures and surprisingly enough some of the best pictures was from the smallest of children. Close ups of the lace of a the wedding gown, a birds eye view of the wedding cake. Wonderful pictures!

I think this a very good idea as you will get so more many photos and everyone can take photos of what they want to. Some pkaces do very good deals if you buy a large anount of cameras for purposes like this. Just think after the wedding you could have a photo party and everyone could bring there photos along to show everyone, another excuse for a party. YES YES YES it is a brill idea

We, my partner and I, actually talked about it, but the problem I got with it is the fact that there would be too much flashing around and perhaps they'll have their own thing and become very busy taking photos to the point that they won't participate in the other parts of the program anymore. That even happens now with the event of cellphone cameras, people would be posting on their facebook taking photos of themselves instead of giving full attention to the couple, how much more if the couple actually gives them cameras to use? We were even thinking of polaroid cameras per table with unlimited slides. Well.. Not to mention that it's quite expensive. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

I have heard of people doing this quite a few times. I myself wouldnt do it just because I probably wouldnt like the quality of the photos when I saw them. I am really picky about photos. I'm a photo freak lol. I think the people at the tables might have a good time with it though being able to take pictures of what they like.

Excellent idea. Makes a more vast collection of photographs. No single photographer could catch every moment worth noting nor, could the bride and groom. Disposable cameras are so inexpensive and worry free, why not put one on each table?

Yes, it is alright to have a disposable wedding camera for a wedding.
