Back n high-school everybody had pierced ears so you know being one with the crowd and also since i like blings back then I pierced my ears. Using a large gauge needle form a sterile syringe that I bought from the pharmacy, I began. I had alcohol and cotton balls for the bleeding and a new set of shiny and a little bit expensive blings I began and lo and behold I am pierced I poured alcohol and cleansed it quickly to avoid it from closing then put in my new set of earrings and after all that painful experience I displayed my new blings at school but to my surprise people were smiling and laughing after I pass them by I thought there must be a problem may be my ear is bleeding or what and to my surprise my piercing is not symmetrical and is way off by some degrees in angle so I removed my earrings to my embarrassment and never started wearing earrings again till college when I had new piercings from a licensed tattoo and piercing shop. Now I can just laugh about but the embarrassment at that particular moment, will eat you good thing I there are a lot going on in high-school so people just move on to new topics afterwards.

Oh my god! you pierced yourself? It must have hurt plenty
I could never do anything like that. I had mine pierced when I was around 10 I guess, by a professional but that did hurt like hell too I remember. Had my third one done last year and that hurt too LOL I think I just have low pain tolerance. But when I got my tattoo done, it didn't hurt
