You're supposed to get your hair trimmed often to avoid damage and keep your hair growing healthy. You don't need to cut it a lot each time. Long hair needs more attention then short cuts. Washing your hair everyday can strip it of essential oils. Also, things like blow drying and straightening your hair can damage it because of the heat. Cold water, I heard, is good for hair, too.

I cut them every two months. They feel fresh and shiny when I cut them because I have highligths and they get dry easily. I always keep the length though, I don't want to shorten them too much, but I might change my haircut from time to time.

I am not so sure. But I tend to have a haircut once every month. Even if it is long hair and it seems that you don't have to have a haircut so often. However, it will make your hair neatly and have a good shape. I love China

I probably havent cut my hair in about two or three months or maybe four im not sure but i dont cut it everytime i even go to get stuff done to my hair. I dont always want to get it cut because i sometimes want to grow it out before cutting it off and then ill cut it next summer again and sometimes i go around 12 months before even cutting it because i usually like having longer hair than what i have now.

hello, Me too I haven't cut my hair for many months now and me too I am hesitating to cut if off. And now I experience split ends and look so dry. And I also hate it especially when my friends noticed it and tell me that I should cut my hair to get rid of the split ends but I dont like my hair to be short again. I start to trim it,

Even though you're growing your hair out it still needs to be trimmed every 2 or 3 months. Trims keep your hair healthy and encourage it to grow longer. It also gets rid of split ends

I don't cut my hair often because I have the type of hair with slow hair growth. I don't really know how often one should cut, but I do cut when it feels dull and the weather is really humid - usually during summers, I try to cut it as short as possible just to be able to breathe with the hotness of the weather. I think you should cut your hair now because it doesn't seem pleasant anymore. You don't need to cut it too short, you could just have it trimmed or perhaps be treated with hot oil in order to regain the shine. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

It's recommended that you get a trim every 6 to 8 weeks when you want to keep split ends away, while growing your hair out long.

You don't have to cut it short. You just need to trim the ends where the split ends are. I trim my hair every three months to avoid split ends. But you have to let a trusted hairdresser do it though because you know some just don't listen and just cut your hair short and you can't do anything about it after.
