England decide to allow rest to James Anderson to recall Kevin Pieterson for the coming India-England ODIs in India.Anderson is England's most consistent fast bowler where Pietersen is their best ODI batsman. In my opinion it is a change more positive to India.Anderson was always dangerous to India.

I think that is a smart move to rest Anderson. In Indian pitches, he will hardly get any swing and would end up toiling hard and giving a lot of runs. That would also affect his confidence. So better to rest him and use him for the important test matches. So this is really a smart move from ECB.
Cheers!

England who have a rotation policy to reduce workload of their players so they do not breakdown in a heap like India did on English tour. English take special care of bowlers though. So, it is not surprising that Anderson who had a wonderful summer has been rested. Moreover, on Indian slow and low wickets, Anderson would not have been very effective.
Pietersen was rested earlier and so he has been recalled as he is experienced batsman and will add to their batting strength.
I think Indian team which is still struggling due to injuries, form and fitness has their task cut out against the English.
