This morning while I was at the bus stop waiting for the bus to pick my daughter up for school a mosquito landed on the side of my face near my eyebrow. My sister slapped my face so hard to kill the mosquito. I was like oh my god you didnt have to hit me that hard to kill it. I told her not to do that to anyone else or they would get really mad lol. I thanked her for not letting it bite me. If I see a mosquito on someone I usually slap it gently but not like how she slapped me as hard as she could lol. What would you do? Do you slap them and kill the mosquito or just tell them they have a mosquito on them and let them handle the problem?

Oh my gosh, I am still laughing! Hate mosquitoes and the bite are HUGE when I get them (allergic). But I would only slap a friend/neighbor/family member, not a stranger (and do it gently!) I would tell someone I did not know, as they might be allergic like me and really appreciate the gesture.

I've heard of people being allergic and actually getting like welts from them. When I get bit by some mosquitos once in a great while the area will swell up really bad and will itch terribly and I will feel nauseated and run a low fever. It doesnt happen often once a year or less. So its probably good she just about knocked my head off to kill the mosquito better then the bite killing me right lol. jk she slapped me hard but it really was just humorous the whole thing.

I will do the same thing, slap at it lightly or sometimes tell them one is on their face and touch mine in the area they have one to show them where to swat. I think your sister hit you so hard because she was trying to get to the mosquito before it flew off or bit you, there fore her hit was harder than she intended it to be.

Yes that is just what she said was that she just wanted to kill it before it got me worse or flew off and came back and bit me again. I am glad that she was being thoughtful but lol did she really have to slap me so hard. She didnt think she even had done it so hard but my face stung after she did it. We all had a good laugh about it though.

Hi ya shaggin Ouch that must have hurt ! If I know them then I will flick it and that usually gets rid of them. We don't have a huge problem with mostiquoes in the UK, it doesn't get hot enough haha. If it was someone I didn't know then I probably wouldn't say anything, though I might, guess it would depend on what kinda mood I was in haha

mosquito - Shaggin;s sister slapped the mosquito on her.
Jeez, Your sister could have just shooed the mosquito away instead of slapping you. We have many mosguitos where we live...we all seem to just shoo them away. I definitely would not slap someone who had a mosquito on their face....maybe mention it...or not.

Haha! Isn't this like a scene from a slapstick-comedy routine? I could certainly understand your sister slapping it as hard as she could as she wanted to get to the mosquito before it flew away. Still, I don't think I'd do it to anybody. Even if that other person was close to me.

It would depend on if I knew the person well, or if they were a complete stranger. If I knew them well, I may flick it off for them. However, if they were a stranger, I would not invade their space by getting it off for them. I would just let them know they have a mosquito on their face.
