OK what is really going on are they going to charge people to use the page or are they charging to change profiles have any one else heard of this change, I have a Facebook page and I got the message posted on my wall, wow how will every one manage that? Do any one know what's going on here, how will they be charging folks to use their pages.. Maybe the company is running out of money and need the money to keep the site running who knows, oh well like everything else let's see what happens!!

It was a HOAX message forwarded to you by a 'friend' who either knew no better or was purposely perpetuating a stupid falsehood. It's not even a RUMOUR - there is often some truth in rumours - it is a LIE, pure and simple!
Go to this page: http://www.facebook.com/facebook where Facebook say OFFICIALLY:
"A rumor on the internet caught our attention. We have no plans to charge for Facebook. It's free and always will be."

LOL ... hadn't you come across that expression before? "As sure as eggs is eggs!" ... much the same as "Is the Pope a Catholic?" or "As God made little apples!"
I don't know where they all originated. Some of them are so funny and original, I'd love to know who first said them

I have never heard the eggs thing before ok but thank you for clarifying that for me, I mean it's all over my facebook on my wall, it says something about updating your profile and all that so who knows, but if you guys says they won't charge than I will just have to wait..

This is not true. They would lose so much members if they start to charge from them, that's for sure. And, they already are winning a lot of money just the way it is.

Yeah i heard it too and that a false report. Its a hoax. They are never going to charge for using the site. Otherwise they will loose a lot of members. No one will pay just for social networking.

It's a hoax and if ever facebook will be charging everybody,then I will definitely erased my account there. There's no reason why facebook should charge its users since it earn money on its own ways of selling the site to marketers and SEO experts.
