Have you ever bunked classes and went to a movie with friends?

Not a fan of bunking classes. But did it once and went to watch a movie. First Day First Show. Although the movie was super duper flop, it was still fun, bunking college and watching a flop movie. :)

I remember doing this in high school. It was the time when movies were shown in stand alone theaters, and not in multiplexes. I was so nervous doing it as it was the first time I did it. I eventually got caught as a neighbor was on the row behind me and my friends.

I never did this when I was at school when it would have been illegal to skip lessons, however I did do it in college a fair number of times when it was a nice day and it just seemed like a much better option to be out in the sunshine instead of being in lessons, so, we did that instead of doing anything else. I don't think that you should do it really, simply because of the fact that it's your education and you're paying for the lessons that you're skipping, so you might as well just go to the lessons and get something out of it.

I admit I did. I did it once with my best friend. We really like to watch a movie that stars our favorite stars so, we skipped our class just to watch the premiere.. that was fun..and I never regretted it...

oh, yes I did that twice but when I got low grades i stop doing it. I think young people do silly things and regret later. I was once a silly teenager but sooner I realized that I'm heading the wrong way so I made the big turn around and got me back in the right path.

No I never did. I never felt the need to I liked school and studying. What exactly is more funny about going to the movie instead of school if you can go to the movie anyway I don't understand. BTW we already did that with the whole class including teacher(s). I assume you don't have to pay for college yourself?

Not with friends. But when I was younger and at further education college, I sometimes used to take days off and go to the movies in my local large town: I am in a small town about a dozen or so miles from London, UK. Most of the movies I saw weren't very good; and in the end, I would have been much better going to college, where I had good friends. I did some dumb things when I was young...still do in fact!

what I am telling is about 45 years ago. In those days bunking was not possible. Our degree class use to have 24 students only and the lecturers will know each one of us by name and the place we use to sit. In those years we use to go for one movie during quarterly holidays and one movie during half yearly holidays. So there was no need for for bunking the class. nowadays we see three movies per day in our tv.

yes offcourse... sometimes i go to the movie with my friends, other times we go hiking, some other times we go to the gym... it's fun to do all that stuff...
