driving his car into a "Farmer's Market" in 2003. Now, convicted of vehicular manslaughter, sentencing is today. I think he should go to jail. What do you think. He's 89 years old now. Should he get probation or jail time?

Do they think he did it on purpose or was it an accident? If it was an accident, no I don't think he should go to jail. He should loose his license. He should pay the insurance costs (if he can). He is 89 years old, he won't be alive long. Beides, if it was accident, I am sure he is all ready hauntd and is all ready paying mentally.

It seemed like on purpose! I lived in the area, and I know the location. He drove into the closed road where the Farmer's Market was packed with people. He aimed his car at people. He killed women, children, disabled people, homeless people, people of color. Then, after he ran over people, he reached cross traffic that would have potentially hit his car with other cars, buses, trucks. He found his brakes then, and stopped before he himself was injured.

Yep, I'm talking about Santa Monica Farmer's Market on Arizona Avenue. Then you know the incident I refer to. This man was not in the least remorseful. I am 52 years of age, so I am not a child or youth. This man deliberately aimed his car at people and killed them. He did stop his vehicle before he could be injured by cross-traffic. I believe he did it maliciously and he deserves more than probation, no matter what his age is.
