I knew it was going to rain!

It has been humid and hot all day. There was no wind, it was hot but the sun was behind the clouds. It was not the kind of heat that makes you sweat easily but the kind that makes you feel hot and uncomfortable outside and inside without breaking a sweat. I really hate weather like this. But I knew, with that kind of weather, it was bound to rain and it did.
It started with a little thunder when evening came and then the rain came. It was refreshing and it made the weather cooler. I just hope the rain does not get stronger.
Have you observed something like this in the weather?

YEah, it's always been like that in singapore. Whenever there's humid weather, be prepared for rain in the next few days. Though there are some false alarms, but rainfall is bound to come when it feels like it.. lol 
For the past few days, it has been raining in the middle of the night till early afternoon, before it becomes humid again.. haha

If it is so hot and there's no wind at all. I'm sure it will rain. About a few weeks ago, I felt that kind of weather. I told my boyfriend that it will rain. He told me that since it is so hot, probably it will not rain at all. When the afternoon came, the rain pours. He thinks that I'm a weather seer haha!

When I feel that the air coming from outside seems suffocating and humid even if the sun is not that hot then for sure it will rain. If I also notice that there are more ants than usual I presume the same. I love the rain but when it causes me to be sick I hate it.

Heavy rain usually comes during afternoon here in my place. And sometimes it is accompanied with a wind.
I love when it rains, but if there are thunders with it i always cover my ears and turn off the source of electricity at home. That if the thunder is so loud and the lightning accompanies it. Just a precaution to prevent danger to happen.

I never felt the humid before the rain but I have felt the uncomfortable feeling from the humidity. In cases like today (fall this season here), the hot never left. It has been strange weather we have had. In April when spring came, it has been winter cold and sometimes raining. When it was June it was still somewhat cold and cloudy. The summer came late. I wonder what its gonna be in winter.

Yes my friend. When it is humid all day I knew it will going to rain at night. Sometimes there are thunderstorm but the rain will drop on different place not in my place, but the air is cold after a humid afternoon. i can detect the weather sometimes and I guess everyone of us can do that. What we cannot detect is the movement of storms. Like the number one problem of Pagasa.

Earlier part of the day the weather doesn't show any brightness and was exactly how you described it. It wasn't sunny but the heat pierced through the skin. The sky was cloudy when I woke up in the morning and it looked like it was going to rain and I have to postpone going out thinking that it would rain like the previous day. Unfortunately, it was only a false alarm and the sun did finally show at mid-day but rained later part of the evening.

Yes I understand what you are describing. I also believe that when such kind of hot weather comes rain follows. I actually learned about this from a college professor. It was the same kind of weather you described that day and our professor said "class, believe me it's going to rain", indeed he was true after some few hours the rain follows. So, whenever I feel that kind of hot weather I already know it is going to rain later.

I hate humid weather the kind of humid when it's going to rain and it's a bit grayish and foggy outside. Oh god that weathers makes my hair all fuzzy when it's straight it's so annoying. Yeah I a usually tell when it's going to rain by just looking up at the sky if it's gray its going to rain.

Yes, where I sometimes stay in Arizona it gets like that before the summer monsoons, but there even though it is totally humid and scorching hot, even when it clouds up very often the rain doesn't come for weeks on end. Then when it finally does rain, sometimes it is just for a few minutes of hard downpour and then nothing again for days, or weeks...or months!

Yes, I do.
When the sun is not shining so bright and there are dark clouds above the skies, sooner or later the rain will start pouring.
I like it when it rains and the weather is cold.
I just don't want it to become strong and not a storm again please.

I love when it rain. But not when it rain a little after a hot wheater cause it will make the temperature more hotter. I dont like thunder though cause i cant watch tv or seitch on any electrical items during thunder cause i have an experience when i was young during thunderstorm
