I just finished one long boring survey from Globaltestmarket for 40 market points.I am so exhausted. But the only satisfaction is they did not screen me out in between and I was able to complete the survey, spanning about 35 minutes. So friends, what's the longest survey you have taken?I am already exhausted with the one I took just now.Do you do such lengthy surveys or the shorter ones only?

I'm a member of Globaltestmarket! I just did a survey a few minutes ago but I got screened out. I've been getting lots of screenouts and it took me so long just to get my $50 payout. There was this other survey site that I joined and there was a long survey that took like 4 hours or more! It was suppose to be done by parts and I had like a five day period before the survey expired. So I tried to do it as fast as possibly finished it in like 3 days. It was totally worth it though, it was able to get me a payout sooner and it gave me heaps of points. But after that I haven't been getting much surveys.

I have often been screened out of their surveys but still they give 5 market points for each. However, it would have been better if they sent us just the right surveys that matched our profile so that we would not get screened out. I have been paid many times by this site over the years.

Its been three years in Globaltestmarket and me now also in 870 points .Very hard to get eligible for a complete survey. Maximum time getting 5 points but yes at least they are legit. In other survey sites I got bitter experience as after completing survey, they says slots unavailable.

It is very good that you were able to complet the survey. My congratulations to you. I have not taken a survey for a long time now. I had joined a number of survey sites. But, whenever I take a survey, some where down the road, the message will come up saying that I am not qualified. That is very disappointing. So, I am not wasting my time any more on survey sites.

Thank you for your wishes. I have encountered the situation you have gone through many times. They tell me I am not eligible for a survey after lots of screening questions. However, a few sites are exceptions and do not test our patience like this.

I stopped taking surveys because just as you said they are exhaustive. They are taking too much of my time and yet the earning is not even worth.I'd rather just spend my time posting here at mylot rather than taking surveys. As far as my experience with surveys are concerned they are always long and asking so many details. It is indeed exhaustive and kills so much time.

Spending time here is one of the most enjoyable things to do. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I do both the long and the short surveys and most the time I get rewarded nicely for them. I have signed up for a few of these sites and have made really good money between all of them. I mean it is not enough to live off of but enough to go on a really really good shopping spree. Most of what I do is updated on my profile here so if anyone wants to take a look be my guest.

I do several surveys with a few companies and while the pay is reasonable sometimes they do send some real long ones. While at times it says only 20 minutes of your time, ha! Never it is more like 35 - 40 minutes. There have been a few that I thought, now why did I decide to do this one now as it took well over an hour.

Surveys over an hour is just too much hard work even if it pays a little high. I agree that many surveys which mention a particular time span tend to stretch further than that. I have noticed that surveys on automotive or computer purchases are usually the longer ones. How about you?

I usually try to stay away from the surveys, but have done a few really long ones and do know what you mean. If I am going to do one, I prefer the short ones. But really they seem like a pain to me, and don't really earn much in the long run.

I do a lot of surveys as I like to express my opinion. But the long ones are so boring that it seems to take forever to complete them.

Well, I really did try surveys, honestly, but after I was not qualified for 3 surveys straight after so many qualifying questions each, I was damn tired. Then I gave another try, and it came out to be such a long one, took around 30mina and paid a few cents. I couldn't build up the courage to try all this out. And I cleared all the history, the bookmarks of such survey sites from my desktop. These surveys are not for everyone, just USA and some other such countries. India is not one for sure, it is a PITA to do surveys for me.

I agree. Those qualifying questions can really test one's patience and moreover when we are screened out of a survey after that, nothing can be more irritating! But since I joined one survey site a few months back, I have no complains as they never screen me out of any survey and I get rewarded for just a couple minutes of my time.

I do lenghthy surveys.. about 10 minutes. For me a survey that reaches 10 miutes is long. hehe.. But it is alright because they are going to pay you.

10 minutes seems a short survey to me!

Wow that's amazing! Really 35 minutes? Im surprised. The longest survey i have taken is 30 minutes but they pay me $6 dollars that's why i did it, it was a boring survey too. I think that's a really high points in global test market, the highest points i gotten their were 20 points.

6$ is a lot of money for me. I wish I could get such a high paying survey. The most rewarding one I did on Global Test Market gave me 100 market points. It helped me reach the minimum payout of 1000 market points sooner.
