Un-expected Extra Help From Not Your Best Friend

UNEXPECTED EXTRA HELP FROM NOT YOUR BEST FRIEND, Well, this happen to me quite often. People always think that only those who are closest to you would be those we will go and ask for help for when we are in need or they are the one who will give us a hand without us even asking. That doesn't happen but what really happen is strangers who I barely known end up helping me. There was once when I was organizing a competition, I was trying to recruit my close friends to help me, and for all I've known they all let me down and left me alone, until an acquaintance came to me and share the same level of target with me gave me a hand and made the competition a real success. I guess I agree with you, mobhomeir there are two kinds of people, people who are strangers that help us in times we need and friends who are gone when we need them. Anyway, that is what life is. so cheerio ^_^

Oh, I have this friend, we started as aquitance and then later we talk more often. Then came a time we have to share one work load and in one incident she saved me from missing my assignment by doing it for me. That's started our friendship and now she's one of my best friends. We changes as time goes by and most of the time,changes come along with lot of life's surprises!

Yeah, that happened to me a few times, and when it happens I do appreciate the help, but afterwards I feel like I want to show that person a thing or two afterwards. I feel like I want to be the hero the next time, or I feel like I want to show them that I am just as good if not better than they are.

Hello there, that's nice that you have gotten help from some one there and it's pleasant to hear that. People are really nice when the situation presents it. my mom had the same kind of situation because of financial troubles in the past, but lately she's been getting help too from her neighbors when ever she is in trouble

I get a lot of help from my friends but not much financial. I have a friend that helps me decorate for Christmas and get the house ready for winter and then spring. I have another friend that comes over and puts my groceries away. A friends father (she is out of state) comes over and helps if I need little odd jobs done around the house. The same with my friends husband. My neighbor just brought me the mail (the mailbox is 175 feet away and I can't walk it). I get financial help from my mother sometimes, but I don't really like to ask for help of any kind if there is anyway around it.

i had experienced with that situation. he is not my friends itself, he just come ahead and helped me with some money. and then i used to talk to him and share all good things with him.

i remember during the days when we were still having a problem with my youngest son, specifically with his sleeping condition called Sleep Apnea. all the time we thought it was asthma as the doctors have told us. we have to visit the doctors' clinic almost every month. so we need a lot of money on those days. until one time, the doctor said we need to send our child to a sleep test to make sure and confirm if the problem really is sleep apnea. that test needs a lot of money and we really cannot afford it. i talked a lot about his condition, our lack of money for the sleep test and all the medications. i talked a lot it here on mylot. then one day, one mylot friend whom i never seen personally and we only talk on the post, sent me a private message that she is willing to help us. months later, she confirmed when her disability was released. i know she also need the money but she said, the money that she sent us, for the sake of the child is only a small part of the money she received. this is the first time i received money for help from someone that i do not know personally or i do not met at all. of course, everyone is so happy when the money came in. but when we came back to the doctors, one said to change, look for another doctor so we can get a second opinion. and that doctor did not told us to send our son to the test. and for seven months, the money which was supposed to be spent for the test, all went to the medication and the doctor's fees, when we came to her almost twice a month. after seven months, we swith to another doctor which told us to see another doctor which is an specialist in sleep condition. and that this doctor confirmed the sleep apnea in our son without the sleep test. and that he suggested a surgery in the soonest possible time. but that came another problem when he told us that we need to have at least a hundred and twenty thousand pesos for the operation. whew, this is the deepest part of our lives, i supposed. but i never lose hope and look for somethings to raise the money. i blogged, i posted a lot. then one day, i received a message from someone that i do not know, again. this time from me email inbox. and this time she said, a tv program was supposed to start which will deal with medical problems of the needy. and she said, the program will try to help us with our son. and from there, they started to help us. starting from the shooting of the segment from cebu to manila and bulacan to the hospital. the tv program flew us to manila and back to cebu after the operation, they even shuttled us from our house in bulacan to the hospital in manila, back and forth. until the operation came, we almost did not spent so much for the operation, the hospitalization, the medicines, the doctors' fees. ~~ NEIL™~~
