I had a diary when i was in elementary and in high school. I just found it. It was funny because the things that i wrote happened a long time ago already. The time that i was happy and sad. The time i was in love and hurt. It is good to read and remember those memories. Hmm.. I think i better have my diary back again. Have a nice day mylotters.

i do have a diary but don't write their everyday. I write only on special occasions and when I have a really bad days or really good days. The exceptional days, or else I don't bother writing coz most of my days are pretty monotonous.

I have kept a diary on and off ever since I was 16 and got a very nice one with a little lock and key. I also try to keep letters sent to me, I have got quite a bundle. When I was away from home, my parents kept the letters I wrote to them. They are fascinating to read because many things I don't remember any more. I still keep a diary, a hand-written one. I write things I do, prices of goods I bought, and also comment on important things that happen in my country. I keep another diary in which I write down the books I read, so that I can keep track of them. Reading books is also strange from a memory point of view. About some books I know I read them. But sometimes I start on a book and only half way it seems to be familair. I check my book diary and then (often) find out that I read it several years ago.

I consider my blog as my diary - with some restrictions . Well, I can't let everyone know anything that happened in my life.. And also, up to now, I am still using my journal book. Maybe the contents there is mostly about my schedule and activities, but sometimes I do write some random things too . So, I think I can also consider my journal as diary too :D.

Despite the fact that I am a girl, I never kept one. It must be fun reading old entries. I do love to write, but usually when I write, I write about weird things. In other words, I don't keep a dairy. I blog and I have my own personal agenda of goals. I don't know why I never kept one. I guess I was too lazy to write back then.

I remember my teenage period --I was having a diary and I use to write interesting experiences I use to write in it. Subsequently I found others should not read those writings. Then I stopped maintaining diaries. I was having diaries for 2 or 3 years only. Nowadays no diary with me and I dont find any usage after retirement. Officially - yes I was maintaining a diary properly as Manager and passed on to my successor for guidance.

Wow, it is a nostalgic experience whenever you read on those notes, isn't it? I used to have one of my own because it was required back then by our high school teacher but I lost it. I have a bad experience with that diary thing, my friends got it and gave it to my high school crush. I wrote something about her, something naughty and she became mad at me. I miss being young. :)

I do some journaling on my computer, but mostly I tend to do it publicly on line. Perhaps I will make copies of everything important and personal I've written on line, just in case the sites close. I feel better when everything I want to keep stays on my computer for easy access. I am way behind on making my copies. I still have journals from my young adult years in paper form, but have no idea what happened to my old high school diary. It proably wasn't all that interesting anyway.
