What would be the best place for honeymoon according to you? Some like beaches, some love the scenery of mountains. What do you prefer to go first time with your life partner?

I think that one of the best places to go for a honeymoon would be New York City. I just love the place, and would like to go there at some point in the near future so I think that a honeymoon would be a great excuse to be able to go there. However, we have children, so we're more likely to have to go to somewhere a little closer to home where we'll be able to take them with us, because we wouldn't feel comfortable taking them with us abroad, or leaving them with a friend or family member while we went away on holiday.

If I got married I would prefer a tropical island and that is off the beaten track. One of my friends and her husband had a honeymoon in Madagascar. As that is one of the countries on my travel wish list so therefore it would be ideal for my honeymoon. It has white sandy palm fringed beaches and some adventure. He and I could enjoy seeing some wildlife together. I am sure the sunsets would be magical looking and it would be a very special and romantic honeymoon.

Thats easy...always go to the BEACH!!! Me and my boyfriend went to Cali on our first trip and have talked about it ever since. The beach, to me, is one of the most romantic places to be. Its so peaceful and gives you peace of mind. I think actually anywhere that you are together with your mate, you can make romantic but the beach sure does help a good deal :)

I love the beach and I love the mountains but for our honeymoon we want to go on a cruise. We get to do a lot of things we don't get to do on a regular day. We'll get to shop, go to the spa, the club, the bar, pool, go bowling, see a theater production and still go to some islands where there are beaches and things of that nature! I think it will be the perfect balance of everything and some relax time! I could not imagine anything better then to spend some time with the move of my life doing things we love to do!

Hey this is one of the discussions that I have been thinking to start! Thanks you did that! I shall be getting married next June and hence was worried about finding the right place for honey moon. I would generally prefer beaches and beach resorts for honeymoon. Have heard that Maldives and Mauritius are great places for honeymoon. Also, heard there are some good places in Thailand, bangkok and Malayasia which are a bit affordable. However, by next year, the prices will increases and not sure how am I able to tackle the financial aspect of it!

Any place , where there will be no disturbance and we can get peace of mind. It will be good, if it is a hill station, so that the climate is also will be good to enjoy.
