So, I have this anti-virus program called advancesystemcare 4 pro. Its really useful, and sped up my computer a lot. One of my friends have a really slow computer, and I tried recommending Advance System Care 4 to her. Unfortunately, she is extremely suspicious of anything found online because she has had 2 major virus attacks that nearly destroyed her computer. She doesn't trust that this is safe, and thinks every download is a virus. So now I need other people's proof: Is Advance System Care 4 safe to use and would you recommend it?

AdvanceSystemCare 4 is a good registry cleaner I've used it and it makes my computer faster. This is a safe download matter fact it probably the best registry cleaner I have downloaded. If your friend decide to use this download she will have to decline the toolbar that they try to get you to install on your computer there are several things they want you to accept but tell her not to accept them especially the toolbar this is how you get viruses such as spyware and adware problems on your computer.

Charlestng, I beg to differ most anti-virus expert consider all malware including adware, spyware, grayware, etc. to be viruses or malware. Malware are the programs which usually install without user knowledge / consent and executes unwanted actions. Spyware parasites differ from regular viruses. They do not spread by themselves and usually must be installed as any other software with or without the user’s consent. Adware parasites differ from regular viruses. They do not spread by themselves and usually must be installed as any other software with or without user content. From: http://www.2-spyware.com I also use several free registry cleaners I come to find that free registry cleaners all have certain capabilities that is different from each other. Ccleaner was the first registry cleaner I used. I don’t like it I like Glary cleaner it has more tools and capabilities than Ccleaner. Here are a couple of link that will prove that some toolbars are malware or will make your computer act strangely. 1. http://www.free-web-browsers.com/remove-toolbar.shtml 2. http://www.computers.getridofthings.com/get-rid-of-toolbars.htm

No misunderstanding, malware and viruses are used interchangeably in the computer security field.

First of all advancedsystemcare is not an antivirus solution.. it's system tune up, performance utility kind of software.. I do trust this software alot. I use this software in many of my network system. You can 110% trust this software.. there won't be virus associated with this setup..
