I was so bored yesterday and know that my attitude sucked. The sad part about it is I told my boyfriend that I was bored and he just blew it off. How would you react to that?

We did talk about it the next day and he apologized for ignoring what I said. I told him I that I don't like to just sit like that and needed to do something.

Things were going real good until yesterday. I just reminded him that it can't all be one sided. He did listen and then things got on the right track again.

I hate being blown off like that. I would go back and say something like "I said this, and I don't feel like you took it seriously."

I am glad he decided to pay attention to you this time. I hope that he continues to do that. Good luck.

It sure didn't leave me feeling good. I mentioned the same thing yesterday and he did pay attention. Maybe it was the way I said it this time. I thanked him for paying attention to my feelings.

Has he ever told you that he is bored? If so, how did you handle it? In general, I have found that most men are not as nurturing as most women, but on the subject of boredom, I am not very sympathetic, because I do not think I have ever been bored. Maybe your BF cannot relate to that either. If you told him you were sad, do you think he would blow it off? I think that would be bad.

Hope you are feeling better! Well, yes, absence can make the heart grow fonder...and it can make men miss us, lol.

I usually don't get bored and that is what made this so bad. He is used to sitting around reading and watching tv and I'm not. Especially on a weekend. I would rather be out scouting around and taking pictures of things. We did talk about it and I think he understands. I have been in the hospital the past four days and this has really given him time to think.

Well if my girlfriend (that is if I had one) told me she was bored, I would ask, if there was something she would like to do?

I was hoping he would suggest something. I did mention a few things but he blew them off too.

Blowing it off is not the right attitude when someone says they are bored But it does have ramifications and affects the one who is supposed to make life interesting for others. Probably your boyfriend was the one at that time who was supposed to liven you up and he failed. I think he was disappointed.

You are so right. I was hoping he would suggest doing something besides sitting around the motel room. I had mentioned doing a few things but he just ignored what I said. I should have gotten in the car and went for a drive or took a walk.
