Though Pizza is an Italian dish, in India you get Indianized versions of Pizza. So you have Paneer Tikka Pizza, Kadai Paneer Pizza and Teekha Paneer Pizza making it to the Indian menus. In your respective countries do you see such local flavors of Pizza in the hotel menus? Cheers! Ram

I know one in our country. We call it Laing Pizza. Laing is a local dish famous for being spicy. It is usually cooked with gabi leaves or taro leaves, fish paste or dried fish, lots of chili and coconut milk. Add it with some olive oil, mozzarella cheese, onions, peppers and the dough. And there you have it, the Laing Pizza. It is a must try if you are in the Bicol region of the Philippines.

Wow!! In India too we like our Pizzas hot and spicy. Paneer is something like Tofu, so it is usually fried in a bit of oil and is made into small cubes and embedded onto the pizza. Cheers! Ram

Here, they mix it with coconut milk and the chili and the dried fish... So it is more like of a paste or a sauce sometimes... That is spread all over the pizza instead of the usual tomato sauce.

Hi ram_cv. I really love eating pizza, any versions of Pizza. But the problem is I don't know how to make pizza. Do you have pizza recipe?

Oh, you have made me feel so hungry! But no, there isn't really a Greek version of pizza. They just make very poor copies of Italian ones, or even worse, plastic American style pizzas.

In India it is very difficult to sell bland Pizzas. So they need to spice it up and make it hot :). So you have all this Indianized versions of Pizza which is usually a bit hot. Cheers! Ram
