IN some areas, there are still malnourished children. Even you have taught the parents how to care for their children improving the status of nutrition, they still are malnourished. are they just so lazy? or what?

Well, well, well. Ensuring good and proper nutrition is one of the many important roles parents, especially the mothers should pay attention to. They should not jest attend seminar or lectures provided by local heath centers but also act on it. Health care providers should also make sure the effectivity of their health teaching and make sure to follow up them.

it is because the child wouldn't have taken care off and wouldn't have good nutritious food. there should be someone to guide them to eat healthy foods and it will surely make them good.

In some countries of the world they are so poor they can't nourish their much less themselves. Civil War doesn't help either and in some African countries that has helped with malnourished children! Countries, sometimes get selfish they don't care about their people! The goverment only cares about themselves! Haiti is one of those countries that don't care about their people! In the US some kids aren't getting enough food because their parents can't afford enough food for them. Main reason is the economy being lousey! Until the economy gets better, countries pull themselves up on their own instead of relying on the goveremnt and civil wars ending,I don't see this problem ending anytime soon!

absolutely I agree with you. But I think this has much to do with the parent of malnourished children. They should have some ideas in order to find work and to earn a living for their family. They must be responsible enough.

A caring parent is not enough. Even if they're not lazy. Unfortunately the world runs on money. And anything and everything costs something. So, for people who don't have much, or nothing at all, nutrition wouldn't be too high on the priority list.

Children of very poor people are the ones that are always malnourished because they lack healthy foods to eat or could hardly eat 3x a day. Usually, they would just be fed with noodles or sardines with some rice and that's not a rich source of nutrients. They may feel full with it, but they take in empty calories or foods lacking in nutrients.

It's a matter of income and status. In our country they usually are poor. They have many kids but no source of income. Usually they have 4-5 kids and no job. No job means no way of buying healthy foods, no food means malnutrition. Also the environment they live at is untidy which causes illnesses increasing the burden further.
