Adress not confirmed???? What?

Hi MyLotters!! Well, first of all my paypal account is not verified. I bought a thing on paypal. The money was sent, and I received the confirmation e-mail saying that was sent. And next to the Shipping Adress it says not confirmed. The adress is there and is correct but I want to receive what I bought. Will I receive anyway? In the e-mail it says that it was sent. Rod

Confirmed address - it is when a buyer's credit card billing and shipping addresses are the same. So, it is obvious why they say your address not confirmed - you haven't verify your Paypal account and more importantly, you haven't verify your real address yet.. Will you receive it anyway? It would depends on the seller. Where did you make that purchase anyway? And have you checked their policy about unconfirmed address? Take an example - yourofficestop.com They don't accept payment via PayPal from addresses that are NOT confirmed. Here's their explanation: "Confirmed Addresses. PayPal prompts buyers to provide sellers with a Confirmed Address when making a purchase. A Confirmed Address is either an address at which a User receives his or her credit card statements, and is checked by PayPal with the User's credit card issuer, or an address which PayPal has confirmed through an Alternate Address Confirmation process, which includes the verification of other official documents. Confirmed Addresses must be in the name of the account holder, and thus Gift Addresses in someone else's name can never be confirmed. Shipping to a Confirmed Address minimizes the risk of being paid by a fraudulent buyer. If a buyer does not provide a Confirmed Address, the seller must either refuse the payment and ask that the buyer provide a Confirmed Address, or accept the reversal risk in shipping the item outside of this Seller Protection Policy. Ps you have to verify your account yourself. Pay pal will check if it's really your account, your bank account and/or your credit card. They will take money from your bank account you have to verify that by giving them the amounts they took of. If they do that with your credit card you have to give them a code. Might be you have to choose an other password etc as well.

Good thing of pay pal, if you don't receive it you get your money back. Better have a good look at your account. Are there any messages shown telling you pay pal is doing an investigation? Is there a sing of a claim going on? If you want to be sure what it means email the customer service.

hey, i wont say much, because i can see that you already have great advise. But usually when i have a problem regarding paypay, i contact their email support and they offerer me great support regarding my problem. I suggest emailing them about your problem, they will respond back within 24 hours or more.

Hi rod, Though not like yours, I too have a similar problem with PayPal. It is almost 2 moths now that following their direction I wanted to test if the amount really reaches my Bank Account. I did everything in filling up the form. When it came to put the amount instead of 10 dollar by mistake it got put up 100 dollar. Whit is done done. Now I was waiting the money to enter into my Bank Account, but to my consternation till date I have not received any money. they said they would need 3 to 4 working weeks. I am worried as to what could have happened.

I could not give a precise answer to your problem. However I can confirm I have today received the much-anticipated $ 5 from "DACEBAND" I have credited them, but it seems to me to confirm he wanted to do something that even I understood. As my personal advice, send an email to Paypal and ask them the necessary explanations.

I hv no idea. Maybe you cld send an enquiry to paypal's customer support staff? I always do that whenever I hv questions pertaining to my transactions, etc. Usually, paypal's customer support staff is quite prompt in responding.

you should receive it. Just call paypal or email them to ask and make sure. As long as its on file, I don't think you should have a problem.
