My suggestion aside from not staring into the computer for long hours is that since you find that perhaps you are experiencing eye vision trouble would be to see an eye doctor. Maybe it is time for eyeglasses and if they find it is not necessary then I would go see your regular doctor. Headaches sometimes happens when we strain our eyes for a long time and or could be a health issue. Unless you are sure I probably would not recommend any type of vitamins unless you were sure it was lack or deficiency of some kind. I do hope your child is feeling better and you can figure out what the issue is with the headaches.

I don't wanna see an ophthalmologist scared that they will let me wear an eyeglasses. If your eyes is not 20-20 vision, they will let you do that. I read also that eyeglasses is not a cure, it will just an aid to see things clearly. Maybe a regular doctor is fine. My son is fine now and thanks to the Almighty.

I do have a good sleep 'cause most of the time when I let my son go to sleep unknowingly I, too fall asleep. Sounds funny but true. Now I just force myself to eat carrots because of it's vitamins but I really don't like the taste.

There may be herbs that will help improving your eyes. It does sound like your eyes cannot stand the strains they get when staying on the computer too long. You would need to have the ways to relax your eyes, to relieve the strains. When I have problem like that, I often sit out in the garden and look around at the greeneries.

Hi Greenline! You are right my eyes can't stand the strains. What's that herb and if that is still available in my country? Yeah looking for something green like nature really helps.

Staying long hours in front of computer causes eye strain. Sometimes we suffer headaches and sometimes experienced difficulty to concentrate. I guess it's the same with Television, computers emitted radiation so viewing log hours put much strain in our eyes.I don't know much about vitamins for the eyes. But eating lots of greens and more veggies will surely help.

Eating vegetables will surely help specially the green-leafy ones not only for the eyes but for the whole body in general. It's affordable too...

I don't think I take care of my eyes well enough. I read even when I'm on a moving vehicle, I sometimes read even with the lights off and only using my phone's backlight. I can't stay long using my pc because whenever I exceed an hour in front of my pc, I get teary eyes. I know I have to have my eyes checked sooner or later but I still don't felt the need to do so. :))

Hi jenith Use the 20-20-20 rule while workign with computers. That is every 20 min focus on some object that is 20 feet away from your desk and blink for 20 times. I realised that this did wonders in hydrating my eye and in the focus power . Also it serves as good diversion. Who knows what you might have missed ;)

As what every other things needs. Have a rest. Don't exceed to the limit on your eyes. Yes, there might be a problem with your eyes or maybe just maybe your eyes only needs rest. Just don't exceed to the limit of your eyes. Take a nap or something just to rest your eyes. And if this problem still exist even after a week with proper resting of your eyes then their could be absolutely a problem with your eyesight. You now need to consult your physician with that.

Maybe I just need to take enough rest. I can't take a nap during the day even if I wanted to 'cause I need to take care of our small business if my hubby is not around and my son wants me to play with him all the time. I think I really do have problem with my eyes and hope that it's not that serious. Thanks for your concern HeartROB!

If your eyes burn and you don't know what to do just take water and splash it on your eyes or keep a ice cube with it. Don't look at the computer for so long, take a minute away from it, it can help you.

My granny told me that if your eyes is too tired then it's not good to splash it with water. It will damage your eyes and worst is you will become blind if you make it as a habit and do it many times while working.

Since computers produces radiations, it is not advisable to over exposed your eyes to it. A long hours in front of the computer stresses our eyes' muscles. It is in this manner that I suggest that you should and eye glasses, especially convex type, if i'm not mistaken. But in your case, since you don't want to use it, you can use contact lenses. Take care of your eyes folks, because our eyes are one of the most important part of our body.

1.take five-minute breaks every hour by looking off into the distance and looking away from the computer monitor. 2.just close your eyes for a few minutes when your working so long. i hope you have a good heath!

I think 5-minute is too long. Maybe for 2 hrs I can do that. When I felt that I worked too long but the result is not worth it, I do a walk or have chit-chat with somebody found outside the house then back to work again. I need to have a good health always 'cause I don't even have a penny to pay for a doctor.
