So, I'm creating XXX and I'm thinking of adding a donate button to it. The button asks me what currency should be donated. Wait, What? Does this mean if I choose Canadian Dollars (Cuz I'm a Proud Canadian) Americans can't donate? Or does it automatically converts it into Canadian Dollars? Thanks!

PayPal allows one to have many currencies linked to ones account which is a really cool feature and you can convert it at anytime. Anyone can donate no matter what the currency is its just converting it for you to Canadian Dollars to save you the effort. Best of luck with your site!

As far as I know, you can accept all kind of currency for payment in Paypal. Later, Paypal will automatically converts it to your account's default currency. So, it would doesn't matter whether you choose Canadian Dollars or American Dollars, you will accept your payment at last . CMIIW.
