babysitting for a longtime

Wow! last night was first time in a real long time that I had babysat till 8pm. I normally one babysit for nor more then 2 hours when I have the kids I have but yesterday, I babysat for longer so that the parents could go out on a date to see a movie. Since I'm a stay at home mom I really have no problem with watching them that late even though it puts them off of there schedule I don't know there night time routines they are only with me in the late after noon in between one parenting going to work and one coming from work. But the good thing out of it was I made $50 yesterday for babysitting and there might be a possibility of me having them all day till 3pm if there mom works in the day time then I'll have them for 8 hours almost every day. I was so tired after having 3 kids for 5 hours the good thing is my husband got off of work at 5:00pm and got home at 5:30pm and brought our cousin with him home so I let them take care of our daughter while I took care of the other two.

When my girls were small, I took care of kids as a means of earning money so that I could be home with my girls. I have 4 kids and so it always meant for a really busy day that started early and well, never seemed to end. After the extra kids went home, there was still the cleanup and dinner to cook and getting my own kids bathed and down to bed. There is good money in it but it is a lot of work and probably more work than an out of the home job that you can put aside at the end of the day. When my girls got into school, I stopped doing the daycare and just did before and after school which was still a decent income.

That, was nice how it worked out. I don't have many kinds just two and they are siblings so it makes it easy since they get alone already. It does make for some good money. I at least make the same amount of money as my husband does in one hour. They are good kids and very nice to have around. Although the longer I have them the more jealous my daughter gets since she is so little and doesn't know how to share just yet but I guess she'll get it over time. This week I made about $70.

Wow. That is decent money. I didn't mean to sound negative about babysitting if I did. Just re-read what I wrote up there. I did enjoy it and it did allow me to stay home with my own girls. It also gave them some little playmates. Mine got jealous too at times with sharing my attention but I think that for the most part, they came to love it. I'm sure your little one will too.

I'm sure she will. Her emotions are starting to come out and she is learning what they call mean. At least she doesn't hit or take things from others at her age yet.

Well so far this week I've made $70 but most of it was yesterday and I had no little kids outside of my daughter today so I rested a lot. I hope I see them more this week but I might not. They didn't say anything about Thursday or Friday this week and if not at least I no I made more this week then last week. That's cool your also a stay at home mom. :)
