So who is left after 3 weeks.. J.R. Martinez, Ricki Lake, Chaz Bono, Rob Kardashian, Nancy Grace, Chynna Phillips, David Arquette, Carson Kressley, Hope Solo I was so disappointed Mark & Kristin were eliminated. I adore Mark and Krisatan is by far a better dancer than some of the remaining. This again shows it's very much a popularity contest...

I used to enjoy the show, but like most reality shows...they start loosing their luster after a few seasons by getting away from the whole purpose of the show. These past couple of seasons...the judges voted on the dancers ability and talent and preformance and all...as they should. But the viewers, they only vote on who they like...not who dances the best or worst. I am sorry, but Chaz is not a good dancer compared to the others, yet he will be if not the winner, at least in the top 3-4 last voted off. WHy? Cause viewers are voteing for WHO he is, not how well he dances. You can't tell me that he danced better than those previously voted off. Last weeks, and all he did mainly was run up and down some stairs "Rocky" style. The viewers do this every time lately. Poor Chaz, he has bad knees but dances anyway...well many contestants have had bad this or that or even an injury while dancing...and they continued on, so the sympathy vote is pathetic, but he gets it as that is what the shows is always promoting for him. Sadly, I don't watch it anymore. Even wonderful Derek can't keep me there! Him and Ricki Lake were great last week tho! I hope they win! Time an "older" contestant wins!

I DVR the show and zip past a lot of it. I too get discouraged with the results...when Mark was voted off I was really disappointed. I too love to watch Derek...he is really good and a pleasure to watch. Ricki is a surprize to me..and Chad is becoming annoying for me...

It started out good to me cause I knew so many of the contestants. But the last 4-6 or so...I don't know any other than the "older" ones! And I just think it is not fair that they are judged for exactly the same thing the younger ones are judged for/on. I mean, they are in their upper 60's or so....you can't compare that ability with that of a 30-something. But they do and that is mostly, I would think, why they are voted off first...that and there are more younger folks that watch than older ones. But I still watched and liked Cheryl and Derek...but now...don't know most of the cast, and with watching without knowing I see more of their ability and preformance and see quite plainly that many of those NOT voted off were inferior dancers, but the person was well liked by the voters. So it isn't really much fun anymore...its is all in who they are, not how well they dance. I still like Derek tho...and yeah, Ricki Lake is really a surprise! One of the older ones was the first to get 2, 10's! Take that, you youngers! I hope she and Derek win!

I don't watch as closely as I used to either..I fast forward past some of the dancers and only watch after I taped the show. Sometime I hear a song I really like and get up and dance with them..it's good exercise I will even rewind it and play it over and dance again when I REALLY like a song...I remember Hey Now was one of my favorite...

That is why I quit watching Dancing with the Stars. It seems to get worse every year. I was watching when Billy Ray Cyrus was on and though I liked him, it was obvious after like the second elimination that he wasn't going to improve much and yet he stayed while better dancers left. Of course I want my favorite people to do well, but I don't want better dancers to go home just because they aren't as famous.

I still watch..even though I do get disappointed. The rules are people have to vote and yes it does become a popularity contest..still I do record it and skim past portions I don't care for.
