Old Japan Anime Series Like Votles V, Diamos, Voltron And So On

What are your favorite Japan anime series when you were still a child? Are you hoping that someday those Old Japan anime series would telecast again on TV like Voltes V, Diamos, Voltron, G-force [I forgot if it is a G-force -- five members with wings. Four boys and one girl] I remember the opening theme song of Voltes V and Diamos. I really love it. It is not only in anime, there is one TV series that I like and I do not know if it came from Japan. Its Bioman and Shaider -- do you remember them?

Oh you forgot the great ones!
Transformers, Astro Boy, Robotech, and Sailor Moon (this one sort of counts). There were a lot of great ones out there.
Ultraman was live action, but it was also another great one.
Voltron was good, I won't say that it wasn't, but there were so many others that were just as good, if not better.

Yeah, well, I know that Sailor Moon is now one animated show that most children born in the 1990s or 2000s don't remember.

Ah...I think you're talking about Gatchaman there but G-Force can work too. I remember that one as a child. I was more of a Voltron fan as a kid. But at the time I didn't know the difference between Japanese anime and American cartoon so I just lumped everything together. I still remember getting all hyped up when the pilots joined their lions together to make the super robot. I thought that was the coolest thing ever.
I tried going back and watching some of these shows but found them to be really cheesy (but still entertaining).

I loved all the anime you mentioned! I particularly like Daimos. I still remember how Richard and Erika called each other. "Erikaaaaa!!!!" "Richarddddd!!!!" 
It was heart-wrenching when I watched it as a kid but I don't find it heart-wrenching anymore. 
But I did love the series as well as Voltes V, Voltron and G-force. I love the theme song of Voltes V. With Voltron, I can remember "form feet, arms and legs..."? And Voltron, defender of the universe! lol I liked G-Force as well but I can't remember much about it.
Bioman and Shaider are from Japan but they are not anime. They are in the sentai and tokusatsu genres which mean live action heroes. I love these kind of genres as well. I love Bioman and Shaider. My favorite character was the second Yellow 4, Jun. I love Space Sheriff Shaider, his Shaider Super Slash was amazing then. lol I also love Maskman, Jetman, Fiveman, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, and Masked Rider Black.
