Reviving Old Forgotten Blogs?

Does anyone have any suggestions for reviving old blogs and regaining followers and readership? I had a few blogs several years back (they are still there, just badly neglected) but do to lack of time and internet connection while my husband and I were driving a truck cross country team, I simply quit posting on them. I have been wondering lately how I could revive them, or if I should simply delete them and start over with new ones. Any suggestions on which would be better, or how to go about bringing the old ones back to life?

i dont see why you couldnt bring them back, you could explain your absense and just bring new material to it.

I thought about that and probably will. I am trying to decide whether to change the topics completely or stick with my old ones. So far I can't decide which would be best. I always did have a hard time marketing them and gaining readers, sigh...

Maybe get involved with forums or social sites related to your blog topics to help keep you focused and perhaps promote your blogs at the same time.
