Avon, Avon, where to sell my Avon

So As you know I have been selling Avon for a few months now. I am always looking for new ways to sell it and have started a page on Facebook. I leave books with samples on the doors or our new neighbors in our apartment complex here. What else can I do? I have been racking my brain on how to do this as cheaply as possible. I did do an add on Facebook but cannot by no means afford $50 (the minimum) a day for this. I did start a contest on my page. Just a little aggravated I guess cause I just cannot seem to get enough buyers to build up the customer base Avon keeps telling me I will get.

years ago my wife made money in Avon, I remember she even placed number 7th in I don't really know if it's a branch or what. I'm not quite sure how she did it but she had like a network of very trusted people that did the selling and collection for her, even going inside the poor communities, she even combined it with tupperwareand small gold jewelry that she sold on consignment basis. I remember she would go home with so many rewards like oven toasters and other appliances and tupperware prizes, well I made her stop after our second child was born so she could concentrate on taking care of the kids LOL, well I made a lot more during those times.

From what I know, she started when we only had one child. so she had all the time to wait for my son when he was in kindergarten, there was a waiting room or a bench there for all the parents who were free to wait. Now my wife started selling very small gold jewelry on consignment basis to the other parents and salary deductible to teachers who wanted to invest on gold if they had extra money (this was more than 10 years ago), now the avon and other products came secondary, like if you buy this necklace, it's bundled with this lipstick if you want it or with this tupperware bowl, and she would give additional giveaways and discounts and she is so good in bundling stuffs into one deal and people started recommending her to other people they know until the avon products later stood on it's own without the jewelry.

I used to sell Avon years and years ago, I wasn't really that good at it. I used to sell in my own area/street so it was easy to deliver the books and collect the orders and to get the orders out. I do think it is much harder to sell Avon these days as you don't have your own patch and go wherever you like, we have had three new avon books come through the door in the last week all from different people. We found in the past that people put the book through the door and never came back to collect it. Now we buy Avon online, that way we can get it when we want it. It is a big shame as online has actually taken away a lot of the door ot door sales. But my avon books in the past have sat three or more days on the doorstep waiting ot be collected and sometimes not being collected. I wish you well and hope that you can find many new customers

About four years or more ago, I was lucky to get a round on my doorstep. Hope you are able to make money out of selling Avon. I think it is a lot harder these days with the internet and not having certain rounds etc. But I wish you all the best

So did you just drop the books on doorsteps like they do with the newspaper?

Thank you and I have tried handing out books in my neighborhood. I have two people who buy regularly and a couple at my girls dance classes. I have put some books on the doors of the people in the apartments we are in until we can go home but so far no bites. How long ago did you sell?

I sold Avon for a while many years ago and I never done well with it at all. I have known several people here who have sold also and they have never done well with it either. I wish you the best, but I really don't have any ideas other than to really work on getting your website out. I know many people will buy online other than in person.

You might want to check around and see if they have home based or small business shows like at a mall or other places. I know we do in our town and the fee is alot smaller then when I do a craft show. We had a genleman though for years that came to all the craft shows here and sold all weekend. I hope you do come up with some ideas. They have cool products!

Sadly our little area is rural and getting smaller by the day it seems. Our poor mall is down to 5 running stores and I have actually gone to the type of show you are talking about there but in truth the cost of the table would not be made back. Too few people go there any more. I have been working craft shows and I put out books and what not but these too have become so small as to be questionably worth it...

Oh where do I begin when it comes to Avon? First, you should know I am still a rep, because I just love Avon for me! I also love the discounts! The reason I started with Avon a few years ago was because I was looking for a way to make extra money. I am pretty sure that's why you do it too! But the real money in any Network Marketing program is in the business itself. I caught the Networking Bug with Avon. I recruited two people in my first week, and got mentioned at every meeting that I went to. I really had a lot of fun standing in Malls and at little shows trying to get people to sign up for the business. The reason I stopped was because like every other Network out there I was doomed to fail if my Downline fell apart. So I became oe of the 95%, and even though I am still technically a distributor, I don't work that as a business anymore. If you are interested in Networking and really building a business from home, I am a distibutor of a world class product that has the most amazing Network Compensation program out there. People don't leave from your downline! You could bring your present contacts with you instead of the other way around! Get the facts before you make any decisions, not the other way around. if you are interested, the link to my website is right on my profile page. We can work together and have a great future.
