I love the weekends.During the week we all seem to get up early in the mornings, but when it comes to the weekends it is the time to really relax. No need to be up early on a weekend, so i love to have a lay in bed, even if i am laying there wide awake.

I have a layin most, not all weekends. It is great that the husband even brings me a coffee in bed.On a Saturday he brings my post and a coffee to me.He is not a person that likes to lay in bed for long once he is awake, but he do not mind me laying there.

I don't get to lay in on the weekends. I go to my 86 year old mom's on Friday night or Saturday morning and stay until Sunday night. She has to take her medicine at 8 or 8:30, but has to eat first, so that means I need to be up to make her some breakfast both mornings. Sometimes I get to lay in on Friday mornings. I am like you tho, I lay there awake thinking, cause my biological time clock knows I am normally wide awake and up.

You are right about our body being use to getting up at certain times.Laying there awake is just as good as laying there asleep, so i try to make the most of it when i can.

I like to read in bed in the morning instead of getting up right away. I like to stay up late at night on the computer and sleep in and read until I get too hungry to stay in bed any longer.

I love the weekends also but still get up at the same time as during the week. I am retired and the only reason to get up at same time is to make sure we get our medicines on time. I can't lay in bed as it makes my back hurt if I am not sleeping and just laying in bed. Weekends are my time to do things for me and not for us. Through the week it is for us and weekends is my time so I want to get it as much as I can.

weekend or not, my activity remains the same. I still have to get up early. I, a housewife. I have to wake up, before my husband and my son wakes up, to prepare all their needs.

I honestly have to say that one of my favorite things about the weekend is that I typically don't have to have the alarm clock on. I hate to have the alarm clock waking me up in the morning, but it is something that I have to do because of the fact that I've got to make sure that Kathryn is ready to leave for the school bus. I love to just be able to sleep until I wake up and I typically always do that on weekends.

I have done that before. But after a few hours of just laying in bed, I do get up and get out of bed. I do ned my coffee and something to eat. But then I get lazy on the couch and watch TV.
