As a Catholic, I really love to read the Bible because it will never become obsolete compared to other books. You are already bringing with you the whole library if you have your Bible: Science, Mathematics, Inspiring Stories, History and many more are found in the Bible.Other books would become obsolete after a few years. But the Bible is still relevant until now. Aside from that it is the word of God and a guide for a better and clean living. How about you? Do you read your Bible?

Not a day goes by in which I don't read the Bible. Life would be pretty boring to me if I didn't make time to read God's thoughts and revelations. The Bible has survived every attack against it. It is now available in whole or in part in more that 2500 languages. It is the best seller of all time and makes the best-seller list every year. Truly one of the great gifts God has given mankind.

I love this Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA) 16All scripture, inspired of God, is profitable to teach, to reprove, to correct, to instruct in justice, 17That the man of God may be perfect, furnished to every good work.

Well that great, but there is a Bible which is complicated and that bible was exclusively for catholics only, the regular bible which is used by Christian churches are composed of 66 books compare to catholic bible which is 78 books. Pardon me but no offense for the catholics, what I have to say is be intelligent to avoid deception.

Correction: It's not 78 but 72 books. Those 6 books are called canonical books which were written outside Israel. I think I cannot explain it well here because it's too long. It took me 4 years to study the Holy Scripture because my Masters is Theology. Those 6 books are almost the same with the other books of the Old Testament. Try to read it so that you will not be deceived also by false accusations. It is not complicated actually if you have read it by heart and have studied all historical backgrounds of the different books of the Bible. I humbly accept your opinion because it is what you believe in and I hope that you would also respect my own belief based on our teachings. God bless my friend.

Good post masang. The Holy Bible will never be obsolete and the Holy Spirit brings out new treasures to God's children as they faithful read it. In answer to your question, yes, I read it. Since I am a pastor I also preach and teach from it. I always love to explore it.

Countless people have found the Bible to be a great source of inspiration in their spiritual lives, especially these days. It is usual to see in public places Bible-toting individuals who take pride in being called Bible students. The Bible countenances a sound attitude toward the cultivation of wisdom and the acquisition of knowledge.
