How does referral thing working ?

Ok i know how it works on myLot .I tell a friend about the website give him my link and he makes an account ( or not ) and he will become my referral.Or i write something on a blog ,put a link there and if someone clicks on my link and make an account here he will become my referral. It works nice on ClixSense also ,even if you won`t find too many referrals because a newbie can`t really make any money on that website.But ... There are these websites like Neobux ,Bemabux,you put a name here and add bux in the end.They all are selling referrals.Where do you think all these referrals come from ? Sure a part of them may be virtual referrals, you pay for 6 people and i will give you 6 series of numbers and letters like 2fh94fh320 ,it`s not that hard to do that and i can even arrange the number of clicks you think they are doing each day so that you won`t lose too much or earn too much from them Another part of them may come from your banners.I asked a friend of mine to open some accounts under me on 4-5 websites, she did , but on 2 websites she is not my referral even if she checked that before making an account.So next time you wonder how come you have so few referrals please think that some of the people who registered from your link may be sold to someone else. Sounds like a small scam or you trust these bux websites 100% and this will never happen ?
