I had given up the idea of looking for nursing jobs that pay simply because there's none. So I expanded my options and opted for anything that came my way. 3 days ago, I was asked by my friend to tutor her 6th grade niece for their quarterly exam.
I was doing fine until we got to the Science Subject and their lessons were about the anatomy of the brain, and the diseases with all the nosebleed-inducing terms. Her younger sister was also memorizing scientific names of animals!
Kids are learning THAT nowadays???!!!
The anatomy of the nervous system shouldn't be a problem for me being a nurse, but even I had forgotten some of them, and worse, I didn't know how to explain it to a sixth-grader!
Do you think some lessons at school are too much for a kid?

That sounds like a little much for 6th grade. Is it a specialized school?

Hi bellis it is one of the best private schools here in our province, reputed for its very advanced lessons. I was a bit fortunate that this kid I was handling was one of the smartest in class so I didn't have to exert much effort on her.
