Anyone know what the new Pet expansion will be like?

I heard a new expansion is coming out for Sims3 called Pets. Is this expansion any good?

I have no details yet but I wish we wont be limited to cats and dogs, I wish bird pets can have careers too, I wish we can have more species of sims, also I wish we can have the option to have no stray animals in the next expansions,in sims 2 , stray dogs that messes the garden and garbage can annoys the heck out of me. I wish we can have penguins as pets, I love them in sims 2 seasons, I want to have more creatures aside from werewolves.

Hopefully in this new expansion pack EA games will fix it up nice, without too many bugs / glitches or any of the annoyances that you mentioned that existed in Sims2. I prefer Sims 3 because the graphics are a lot better than sims2.
