October 9, 2011 4:09am CST
Hi there, I'm a frequent traveler in my own country Philippines. In one year from July 2010- July 2011, I have traveled Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. I can say that I am a tourist in my own country. I actually made a compilation video on my travel which completed my goal for 2011. I miss traveling and I am planning to go back-packing again early next year. I hope you guys also love back-packing in the Philippines.

Wow! That is pretty impressive. I've never been to different parts of our country. I've only been to some parts of Luzon and Visayas but I have never been to Mindanao ~ yet. I would love to travel and see the beauty of our nature. Hopefully I am able to do that by next year. I would like to go to Bohol and Zamboanga. I wanna be in Boracay too and sight some historical places of the Philippines. Happy Lotting!

I am really pleased to hear that you backpacked around the Philippines. I feel that many people don't get to visit lots of different destinations in his or her own country. I am more interested in seeing other countries that I am my home country. Well done for making a video of your travel experiences. I used to be very keen on backpacking. I hope to visit the Philippines for island hopping and snorkeling. I will hopefully fly into Cebu Airport and then travel to Bohol Island to see the Chocolate Hills. I hope to visit Palawan Island too. I have heard lots of lovely things about Boracay Island but it is probably the most touristy destination in the Philippines. I am very happy that your trip was so wonderful and enjoyable.

Thank you! I started to love my country when I started to travel. Before, I always see cities with traffic jam, malls and etc. but when I started to travel, I saw nice beaches, mountain ranges, beautiful sunrise and sunsets. I am Cebu based, You can contact me as long as you get here. I met a French and Spanish ladies when I backpacked in Palawan. I have been to Boracay and Bohol too. If you love beaches with lots of people and nightlife, you love Boracay but If you love to relax and the place is not so croweded you'll love El Nido Palawan. Bohol is great too. If you have free time, you can watch my video on youtube. just type this "i choose philippines! tara biyahe tayo" im not so sure if we are allowed to post links here...
