Hey guys! I just want to share my own experience. Two weeks ago, I'm depressed after knowing I have a Meniere's disease. A disease in the ear that put a high risk for me to become deaf. This is incurable but the symptoms could be manage with medications. I feel extreme dizziness, nausea and vomiting, buzzing sounds in my both ears and sensorineural hearing loss. But instead of staying worried and depressed, I realize there's more I could be thankful of like I can still see, laugh, talk, eat, breath, and many. This is the biggest trial in my life as a young person. I have many plans in life and I'm a bit afraid what will happen to me in the future.I believe God won't leave me.I also pray to God to make me strong.Sometimes I'm losing my self-confidence...what will I do? Thanks for reading.I appreciate you guys.

Sounds like you're a fighter, so don't give up the fight. You have faith in God so that is also a plus. You have goals you want to achieve so go and achieve them. I know many people that are deaf and they lead a very productive life and are very happy people. Now, give your body a fighting chance. Learn about nutrition. Don't eat junk. Do daily exercise. Learn about things that improve health. Who knows what may happen? But whatever happens, overcome the seeming obstacle!

Then you know that Superman doesn't lie, at least the Superman I grew up with. I'm a grandfather of 61. Some years back I used to be a translator for the deaf. I learned the English sign language to be of help. I was richly blessed for doing so. In spite of their difficulty, the ones I met had a great sense of humor. I learned a lot about nutrition from Dr. (chiropractor) Douglas Graham. You can do a search if you are interested in the healthiest diet in the world. All the best my friend!

very proud to see a man with full of positive attitudes.many will become sad and will blame god if they come to know that they are having diseases. But you are ready to accept what life has given to you.god wont leave you and just have hope on god.do your duties correctly and leave the result to him.your self confidence is the plus for you and dont ever lose it.hope all your plans will come true and all the best for your future.

hi greninee oh my Meniere's disease. thats the pits but I hope you have got excellent medical care. I think they have made great strides in managaing the disease. my husband had some of those symptoms but the medication they gave him seemed to really help.,God will watch over you but do see to get the latest help for it if you can.Yes you are young and its good that you are grateful for what you do have.I would keep on the lookout for new advances in treating Meniere's disease.check on MayoClimic.org as they usually show advances in different diseases.

I salute you for being positive about it. Concentrate on the good things that you have and that will happen in you life. I know it won't be that easy and I can't imagine also what would I do if I'm in the same situation. But, yeah, life goes on. God has plans. Keep on believing for the better.

I am happy that instead of worrying you still have positive looks at life. I am also diagnosed a year ago of having TMJ which is really making me impossible to do my work as a career woman and a wife and mother. But as you've said, I realized that it was best timed for me to take some rest, attend to my home and family and serves God. Now I am more at peace and still continuing to make the best part of my life with my family. God will not abandon His children and with life's trials, He's only making us stronger in faith and in spirit.

keep that positive attitude my friend. You are right in saying that you should be thankful because you can still see, laugh, talk , eat among many others. Just religiously take those medications so your symptoms will go away. Maybe you could also ask the doctor of what you should follow in order that you will not eventually become deaf anymore.
