Mginger - Deals are attractive than their earnings. Do you agree?

Mginger started as a 'Get Paid to receive SMS' site for Indians. We used to get SMS from them and earn. Lately it developed greatly and included a 'Deals' section. They include lot of offers in that section. As I observe their deals, few of them seem to be quite good. Some of their deals I observed are: - Triple SIM mobile from T-series (Electric cooker free) - INR 1400. - Mens' socks, handkerchief, T-shirt, watch and a parker pen - INR 949 I consider this development to be very good. But, as far as earnings is concerned, it is very slow. I got my first payment in August 2009 and I am far far away from my second payment. (Their payout is also very low, INR 300) So I conclude that one should join Mginger just to take advantage of the offers, and not to earn anything. Do you agree?

Your observation seems to be right. We can use the offers that are suitable for us because the earnings from the site is slow. If we earn at the rate you have mentioned it will not cover the electricity charges for using internet also.

Some deals are really tempting. I'm thinking of using their cellphone offer, not now but later. The good part is we don't do anything to earn except signing up. Even it doesn't require internet. It requires email id only, that too while signing up. Though it doesn't require us to be online, we can check their offers only by visiting their site and logging in.

You are absolutely right., mgingers commercial offers are good but they offer very very less, infact I registered with mginger five years back and not even got my first payout, but I purchased lots of items through there offer, recently I got a Free T when I purchased original Swiss knife just for Rs.300/-. Good Deal.

This is really great news. Though I haven't used their deals, I feel really glad that mginger delivers the deal.

I joined five years back. And I received only one payment, in August 2009. Now I am at Rs.230 after two years. I have referred 95 people in my first level and 60 people in my second level. Otherwise, I would be in the same position as you. The deals really seems to be good. The shipping charges are free, as claimed by the site. The first reply to this discussion also says it's a good deal.

I didn't say it's worth my time or not. I just said the deals are good. I agree with your point in terms of earnings. But, sites like mginger are just a platform between the seller and the buyer. In that aspect, I think the deals are good. If we bring buyers (not earners) to the site, we can expect some improvement. Regarding the time we spend, we don't do anything except to sign up. After signing up, literally there is no need to work. They don't lay any condition that we should log in daily, weekly or even monthly. Just sign up and forget. Whenever you get a promotional SMS, you get rewarded.

Do you really say that its worth your time, its not even 2000 sir. I tried to change the timings also ,as when we register we give our mobile number for adverts to be received,Do you really say that five years and 95 referals are working for only 230 rupees. Is your time values only tha t much amount ? I think that site is just a waste.very frankly if the site admin also appears in front of me i would say the same,he or she should tame some steps for some thing better for its viewers .

Hi Venky Well, I too got a couple of such Deal SMS from them but I never had registered with them. But to be honest, I am not sure about how these sites deliver products at so cheap prices. I have had a bitter experience at ebay when I brought an LG handset two years back. The prices were good and so was the product but the real product was full of complaints and errors. The camera didnt work, the second sim too went off after a few days... So I am genuinely not thinking about such deals. It is better to get some product from the local market - at least you can go and find the seller if the product fails and is in warranty. This does not apply for the online purchases.

I agree with you although the payout is hard to achieve without referrals but its deals are awesome , very lucrative . Have you purchased from them ?

i am also member of MGinger, i did not reach the minimum payout and i know it is hard if i have no referrals. I agree with your opinion, mginger have great discount offers and it is useful to a member who shop online. In my case, no use with this website because i don't purchase any products.
