What's going on?

So, I was watching a news segment when I heard the reporter said: "A series of crime was made in the last 24 hours" and then proceeded to report all the heinous crimes from the last hour. One was that a student of the University of the Philippines was brutally murdered and possibly raped on Los Baños, Laguna. Another was the attempted hold up of a rural bank and the other was the massacre of a family.
These scenarios are happening everywhere and no wonder many people are asking what's going on with our world? And to think that this happen in the Philippines within 24 hours, is just horrifying (although I know that worse situation are happening in other places like in the Middle East). Do you think these are just random circumstances or there is someone behind all these crimes? Will there ever be a remedy for all these?

it is kind of depressing that most of the news that we can hear and see on tv are about crimes and so everybody is afraid. there are no good news that we can hear. and also most people are not that surprised anymore of the crimes because they happen everyday.

Yes. That's the sad thing, we are so used to these kind of news that sometimes we won't even care. But there is definitely hope for the Bible said that wicked people are about to be destroyed and the righteous will possess the earth. Thanks for your response.

I really do not have any idea stuckonu. I just read your post and was horrified to know that those crimes happened within 24 hours in our country. It was very strange but for sure, those are just one of those crimes that happen around the Philippines and even around the globe. It simply shows that our authority or the police are not doing their job on solving crimes. They hardly can show us that they already arrested some suspects of crimes, or maybe the criminals are not afraid of commiting crimes because they know that they can escape the crime or maybe the police are behind all of these crimes happening. There is always a remedy for this if we just focus on solving crimes and avoiding it to happen so to protect our citizen. If our government official refrain from thinking about their own life and corrupting and focus on their real job, it will never happen. As a citizen,we need to have concern on each other and be vigilant.

Hi stuckonu!
One could really think that there is something wrong going on and some even think that it's already the sign that the end is near. Not just because of these crimes but also because of the disasters happening around the globe. It can really give you goosebumps when you think about this series of incidents. The world and the people seem to be changing for the worst, the world becoming a dangerous place to live in and the people becoming dangerous to live with. I cannot think of any reason why these changes are happening but one thing for sure, it is because of man's own doings.
We can only hope and pray for our safety and for the safety of our loved ones.
