How to restrain a woman from further talking?

Women are renowned for their level of intelligence which you can easily realize during your conversation with them. I am admitting it openly despite myself being a woman. While under such circumstances, a foolish man asks a woman to stop talking, a wise man adopts a simple way to get rid of such a woman. He praises that woman by saying that she looks extremely beautiful if her lips are closed and in most cases he gets a positive effect. If you are a man, have you any such experience when you had to do something to restrain a woman from further talking? How did you try to do it? Were you successful in your mission? If so far you have no such experience, it does not guarantee that in the coming future you would never have to face any such situation. So let me know how you would tackle any such situation if you have to face it later on.

Hubby just turn off his ears. This has worked for over 50 years with me. As soon as i notice that look in his eyes I just shut up, why bother? Of course this makes for a lot of silence in our house. It also means I keep alot of my ideas to myself, maybe not so good.

i think if a talkative woman starts to be silent - that is of much more of a problem. because it will mean that she is thinking very hard on something and that she might just want to do something life changing.

I am a woman, too, my friend. However, if I come across a woman who lashes on talks that I do not want to tackle with, I can always find excuses of sorts to leave her alone. There are some women who are so good to spend talks with, I do not refer to them.
I can see why that comment on a woman looking beautiful with closed lips, i can see why it is effective. The woman understands that the man gets annoyed with her wagging tongue. You might as well stick to it or innovate on it. But surely, that is a good way of doing it.

Restrain free speech???? Not me. If she has something to say, let her talk til her jaws are tired. There are limits to everything. She has to sleep sometime. Seriously, I would rather people speak what is on their minds. Getting things out in the open is the best way to solve all the problems.

I think women today don't talk a lot since they are preoccupied with so many things.But ever I will encounter one I will just tell her to shut up and ignore her talking. I can be rude but she deserves it,isn't it?

OH WOW! Do you think women talking is a problem to you? I wonder what you mean by that when you said woman talks alot.
Anyway, not all women are talkative. There are women who are silent and prefer men to talk more.
