Bill to hold parents liable for the crime of their kids

Do you agree that parents be held liable for the crimes of their kids. To a certain extent yes, but for minors only. Our kids are our responsibility, whatever they become we are largely a part of it. But they have to define carefully the coverage. This may open the eyes of the parents to really look into their kids whereabouts and be involve in their lives especially the working moms and dads.

I'm in two minds about this one. Firstly, I feel that it might give parents who've been irresponsible in their child-rearing a wake-up call, yet on the other hand kids of whatever age do need to learn that they themselves are responsible for their own actions, and that anything they do wrong has negative consequences for them. That message might not get through to them if they see their parents taking the rap for their own wrongdoing.
