What kind of shoes do you like to wear?
I'm not a big shoe fan, but I mostly like wearing tennis shoes, or skater shoes. I don't like heels at all. They are bit uncomfortable for me to wear and stuff. But like any women I do like a good hunt for a good pair of shoes.

I like sneakers and tennis shoes , or normally is called rubber shoes here in my country. I wear rubber shoes when I know I will be going home late. The reason for that is whenever I go home late, I am afraid of the possible crimes that might happen. Rubber shoes will be comfortable for running for my life, compare to high heels or flip flops. But for applying jobs, I need to wear high heels since my height is small and I look respected with heels and skirt, I do not look young. like you, I dislike heels too.It has an uncomfortable feeling and my feet and legs get tired during the night. I wear flip flops most of the time and i rely on rubber shoes whenever I am out.

I've never had a job where I had to wear heel's. All the jobs I had you are always moving to get to little kids so flats are always the best but for some ages you do have to wear nice shoes so I wear flat dress shoes when I had to do that. I know shoe's won't stop someone for hurting you. The best way if anyone tries to hurt you is to yell fire and have pepper spray. I use to carry with me at night time or even in the day time a whistle that would scare unwanted people way if they tried anything because its loud and every painful to hear if your not use to the kind of whistle that I had. They are for soccer places so they are very loud.

thanks for a good advice Shybear. I have pepper spray that I always put on my pants pocket. I rely more on rubber shoes because I can run as fast as I can when wearing it compare to flip flops and shoes with heels.

Not necessarily faster then flip flops or heels you can still run slow with flat shoes. If you have been trained in running yeah you can run really fast. The change in speed is a lot different from heel's to flat but heels can kill people if used in a certain way. You know the bottle of the heel is sharp enough to hurt someone if they attack you. I'm with you on the flats you got a better chances.

I never said they are a big mistake they can be bad for you if they are two high but they are nice to wear when you find the right one. But I find most high heels to be a bit uncomfortable. I like flat shoes and tennis shoes.

I am a shoes addict.
I love to buy new shoes than new dress.
I love high heeled shoes.
I prefer the wedges since it is more comfortable the stiletto.
Usually I like 4" wedges shoes and not lower than 2.5".

I'm not a shoe lover but that is okay. I do like shoes, but my husband cousin she is a shoeaholic. She loves high heels too.

For me, it depends on the brand. I like every kinds of shoes, but I usually buy to my favorite brands. I tried to experiment before and bought a cheaper one, and I didn't like it. It was uncomfortable even if I only bought a flat shoes.
With my favorite brands, I can wear flat shoes, to three to four-inch high heels and I'm still comfortable wearing it.

I don't care about the brand. Its really about how its made. Even brand name shoes are made to hurt its about who and how they made it. I buy cheap shoes all of the time and they are just as good as a brand name shoes even better some times. I don't care if they break or rip or anything because then I know I got them for the right price. I can't do that with brand name shoes because people will say things. I like saving my money for my family then get expensive shoes. I was never into expensive shoes. The best shoes I ever had where a $10 pair from D!ck's sporting goods. The most expensive shoes I've ever bought where soccer shoes and they cost me about $35.

I"m a mom so I don't really care what is in when it comes to close I just go with what I like and if it looks good on me at the time. I get the cheap stuff which does last a while some people think they don't but I don't get all upset when they get dirty and stuff.

Yes it can be tempting to look for a nice pair of shoes. I'm not comfortable in high heels either. All week long I'm wearing running shoes, and sometime my cowgirl shoes which are comfortable, I have to know that my shoes will stay in my feet when I'm walking and to not fall off too, I saw someone that was walking with at 5 inches heels and wandering how come she doesn't seem afraid of falling off.

That is because they are use too walking in those high heels. My cousin can walk in 6 inch heels.
