Our family experienced a big trial and only miracle can save the life of our love one. We were in a desperate situation and hopeless that she may be save from DENGUE. The problem was getting worse when my niece was moved to ICU. It's so hard to see a child who's hopeless to be cure. We panicked because most of the victims are children and the death rate in our country is high. I was hopeless and crying for help. I asked HIM to save my niece and i will be a good child to my parents. I also asked friends to pray and other community to help us pray and miracle happened. HE answered my prayers and it's a nice feeling that you are living a life free from anger. We become closer and feel loved by each other. I thank those who supported us and offer their prayers.

I'm sorry if I am way too late in sharing my opinions, but I really wanted to share so here goes. Just recently, I have felt something is really wrong with my body. I am really afraid to go to the doctor and ask what my illness is so I just made observations and really prayed hard and bargained that I will come back to HIM and will really be good this time. You see, I have not been very prayerful for the last couple of years and I was really not the daughter HE wanted me to be. I cried hard because what I am feeling is really very painful and it gives me so much stress everytime I feel the swell. My bargain still stands today even if I don't feel any pain anymore. Although, I am not perfecting my bargain, but I am trying because that was what I promised HIM. The realization I have come up with is that, I become more closer to HIM now more than ever and I think I am becoming a better person. At least I'm trying, maybe someday I will be able to perfect the bargain I made and hopefully the pain I'm feeling won't ever come back.

Same here. I have countless bargain and none of it last for long. I always ask and when my prayers are answered don't practice what i promised to HIM. I know HE is very forgiving and i am so ashamed of my self that i often forget HIM in good times. Honestly, I'm having a hard times fixing my self, I want to be closer to HIM again but my heart is heavy. Anyway, are you okay now?

I am feeling fine now, not feeling any pain so far. But, I know deep inside that my illness is there inside. I can still feel the swell but no pain anymore. Just like you, I try to give my part in the bargain, but, there are really times that I can't. Maybe one day, we will truly be giving HIM our full part of the bargain whole heatedly. I was thinking, practice makes perfect, and once we have perfected it, we can then do it without the heavy heart or we are not doing it just because that was our bargain, but because we love doing it already! Do take care

I believe I have done that a few times before when I really needed something that I didn't believe that I can do on my own. The one that I recall was that if I would pass my first semester in school, I promised that I would attend mass every Sunday. Well, I did pass and I still continue attending mass even now that I have already finished my studies. Now, listening to the mass as time goes by made me realize that I don't really need to make any deals with the Almighty. Just ask and you shall receive. (^_^ ) It's in our part to return the favor without actually promising it.

Indeed. In fact, all of the blessings are already given. It's just up to us to decide when to actually receive all the blessings that He had already given that everyone each deserves. We must never lose faith and never be distracted with numerous challenges that we get along the way ('_^ ) There are others that are quite narrow in the way they think. Most of them would say, 'here I am ready to accept His blessings.' but they fail to follow it up with faith. All they do is verbal and no actual actions for such blessings to manifest. We really can't accept these blessings when our hands are still full of baggage that are simply not needed, like guilt, anger, resentment, and so on. If we want such blessings, we should first have those unnecessary things gone so that our hands are empty to accept such great provisions.

You have the point. We only need faith and do our part as HIS children. Actually most of my prayers was answered and some of the deal i made, failed. But, HE is still good and ready to listen to my heart aches.

That's why i dun trust prayers. It requires sacrifice on our part for our prayers to be heard. Something has got to be exhanged for the well being of another person. IF god meant for our life to be fair, why not everybody go through the same ordeal right? I've often heard saying praying for their loved ones to be well or wake up from coma, in return for years of their lifespan. In the end, patient die, praying people also die. What's the point?

Well, sometimes we think that God us not fair to us and questioned HIM why HE let us experience this and that. But, I know everything is planned and has purpose why certain things are happening. I guess it's part of HIS test to make us a better person? What ever HIS purpose, i just hope i get to understand HIS message and accept with all my heart.

You do not have to make 'Deals' with the Lord. All you have to do is have faith and pray that the best will come out of a bad situation. Then above all, you must say thank~you...

Oh yes, when we see someone we loved so dearly suffering, we can even trade our own life in replace to them. I can't remember the last time I said such prayer, but I am sure I did. One thing is too fast, fasting will surely grant our prayers, when GOD sees how determined we are for our prayer and wishes...HE will surely grant us when we do some fasting. I have done fasting for a month...eating only fruits and waters for a whole month and my prayer was granted. Have a good day

I haven't tried fasting. I don't know if i'll survive but i'm willing to do it in able to be heard. It's a big sacrifice for me if i'm going to do it cause i love to eat. Would you mind if i ask what's your prayer? Thank you for sharing your story.

I never barter something for my prayer. I got nothing to do with it. I just pray and hope God replies it. Not all of my prayer are replied. That's fine. That;s the way we communicate with God. Nothing's wrong here.

I got no answers also to some of my prayers and i just think that their are some people who really need to be heard. Their prayers are more important/urgent than mine. That doesn't lessen my faith. I just keep on praying and thank HIM either my prayers are answered or not. When i was in that desperate situation i thought that i need to trade something for an immediate answer. Thanks for dropping by.
