Movies about God and devil really interest me. I like seeing how people's faith saves them from the devil. I like seeing how believers fight demons just using holy water, the Bible and all the traditional and ancient stuff.
I feel like something is missing in this movie though. I like the movie but there was something was lacking. Maybe I would have wanted to know a bit of Behman's past. Only Felson's reason for joining the crusade was mentioned and it seemed like a joke. There were less focus on the belief of Behman and Felson on God which I think should have a bearing on what they are doing. And what happened to the witch who resurrected and burned the book at the start of the movie?
Anyway, I like the ending. I think it was good that Behman died instead of just Felson. When Behman was dying, I was actually dreading the thought that he would live and go on without Felson. I mean, they were more than brothers and for one to live without the other is unthinkable! So it was good for me that both died.
I am just wondering about the holy water they prepared. The monk said they were going to need more holy water but when they are facing the demon, they didn't remember the holy water they prepared and the scenes where they were searching for holy waters seemed useless and a waste.
Still, overall, I like the movie.

Probably. Still, I enjoyed his tandem with Ron Perlman as Felson.

I like this movie too- it was quite fun to watch and exciting.. The actors were convincing, especially the girl who was said t be a witch- she was really creepy. Nothing much happened though, I agree-it would've been nice if they had background stories..

Yeah. The girl was a good actress. Even I was confused at first if she was innocent or not.

It must be a good movie by the way that you give the synopsis of it. Movies wherein good wins over evil, are very encouraging. People are being told that it pays to be good and to heed God's word and every bit of advice as they are written in the bible.
it is undeniable that lots of people have gone wayward in their moral and religious ways these days. I just hope that everyone wakes up that being evil is not how normally people tread the path of life. The devil makes people do so.
The devil whispers to everyone that lopsided reasoning to cover for excuses when doing something wrong. We know when do something wrong. We feel it. Our conscience tells us so.
So we coin some excuses of being bad. Covering excuses are never fine with the Lord. WE all know how God punished Eve for her wrong doing and we know how Adam got punished for covering with excuses his wrong doing instead of asking for forgiveness after having admitted to have sinned.

I like this kind of movies too, but I have never seen that one, I will pay attention and try to find it, you make an interesting synopsis of the filmI would like to know the country where the film was done, that will make it easier to find it. I like Constantine, and The name of the Rose, really good movies.
