Well I wonder why we can let a dog or a cat stay in our house or pamper them or love them when we cannot do the same to people who are of the same kind to us.People are supposed to help people. Is that right?
Why cannot we drop some pennies for the beggar? Why cannot we pray for the sick? Why cannot we guide the blind?I wonder why.

We don't know really there activities.
If those people are pitiful and caring with pets, I am sure they are also helping other people on their own ways that they do not need to tell other people or have it broadcasted on the news like others do.
Have a good day

Hi,
Some people, but no all, have passed through life and the life have desensitized them.

Then there are the people who take care better care of their animals then themselves! Can't forget the people who have to many pets and can't take care of them properly! People are selfish. Greedy or just don't think of the help they could be dishing out! I rather see all the athletics who make mega bucks, like Kobe Bryant, donate money to the needy or more then they do! Same goes with the rich people, like Donald Trump for example! People got to stop taking and start giving!

why can you compare two completely different subjects? If people take care of a dog, do not mean he dont give a penny to someone for charity. Take care of a dog begin from the needs of yourself, like you eat rice or bread. it is your mental life.
Other, when you do charity, there is a lot of reasons you do that. Maybe you do that just because you are a celerity, do that for well-known. Also, you do that as you want to help poor people with heartfelt chariableness.
I seldom give money to beggar in my country, it is a sad truth. Because in my country, there are many beggars make into a group that not beg bacasue they are poor and hungry. it looks like a daily work of them. Maybe they eat more good food than me, live in a beautiful house more than me, but they beg me. of course, not all of the beggars like that, but most of like that in my country.
If someday you come to Vietnam as forgein visitor, I advise you do not give money to beggar, just buy some lottery ticket to help them. I think that better.

Hm. Why trees are giving us fruits, why cows are giving milk and why we are using it? God created all of us in order to help each other. They are also a living beings in the earth same as us. man also developed from the animal. As a well developed living man has more responsibility than any other living creatures. Even we learnt more from animals. Well coming to helping others there is a belief that helping others is nothing but service to god.

why assume that it has to be one or the other?
people who have animals are usually more caring in nature, and are probably more likely to care about other people too.
when a child grows up with animals it teaches them not to be selfish, and to care about another living thing than themself. they will probably grow up more likely to support charities or care about humanitarian issues.
I don't understand people who don't enjoy having animals in their life. they give you so much love and it's unconditional.
