Animal Friendship

Seeing so many animals rescuing each other, unlikely friendship shows how THEY HAVE FEELINGS and sometimes even act better than us. They save humans, other animals of other races, different species...Something we sometimes fail to do. It's time to think before eating, wearing them or buying tested products, it's time to think about going Vegan, before going to the zoo, the circus, bullfight, buying puppies and kittens... They are much more than products. If WE stop supporting the cruelty, THEY'll stop hurting them.

It's true, but it's a little hard to be a vegan, we are omnivores and we need meat in our diet but there are some animals you just wouldn't eat. You would eat a chicken but you wouldn't want to eat a dog. But animals do have feelings. I remember watching Dr Harry's show where someone called him about a dog problem. It turned out that there were two dogs, both male. Apparently, the younger one is obsessed with the older male to the point that you couldn't separate the two dogs from each other. Dr Harry took the older dog outside and locked the younger one inside and guess what happened. The younger one got really distressed and leaped out the window! It just shows that animals do feel for each other.

It is not hard to be a vegan. There are plenty of options available once you get into it. The amount of edible plants that are high in nutritional value is amazing. You just need to look further than the supermarket shelves. We do NOT need to eat meat. I do not eat it and am very healthy. Much healthier than when I ate it. Do not believe the meat industry propaganda that we need to eat it in order to stay healthy. If you are going to eat a chicken, why not eat a dog? Chickens are intelligent beings that deserve to live too.

So true Katie. This is a great message that needs to get out there. We have mistreated this planet and it's inhabitants for far too long and we will reach the point in the not too distant future where wars are fought over food and water instead of oil if we continue down this path. It is time to turn things around. The meat and dairy industries are some of the most powerful and harmful industries in the world. Their practices must be stopped, but this will only happen through educating the masses and having them choose better and more sustainable ways of living and eating.

Hi katie: That's so true. For me there's no doubt about animal's feelings. However, we are humans and even if you are vegan, to live we have to destroy something. Just think about vegetables, they come from plants. They are also living species and I'm sure that if they could do it, they would scream for their lives. Unfortunetly every specie have to fight for their existence. We can make an effort not to destroy but even with that when we live we destroy. Just by breathing we produce CO2 which destroys the ozone. ALVARO

This is true. For many times, turtles and dolphins have saved humans. Even dogs and cats have done so, too. There are many stories involving animals saving humans. There was even a story in believe it or not about a bear feeding a baby which was left in the forest by a set of parents who lost the child in their way home. After so many days of searching, the baby was found to be still alive under the care of the bear who immediately gave up the baby to the rightful mom. Let us just allow those who raise animals for a living to earn their keep, though. It may be best to be vegan but, men are meant to be for eating both animal and plant products anyway. So let us just respect it that way.
