Shopping malls promo

There are lots of promotions being conducted by large shopping malls here in the Philippines. SM Malls, for instance, currently have txt2win promos and other raffles during their 3 day sale. However when they announce the winners, they are not disclosing if the raffles are supervised by a DTI representative (the agency that monitors the legality of these promos) Do you think these are legitimate raffles? Have any of you won anything from these kinds of promos?

I have never won in a shopping mall promo. I don't always join anyway. I only join when I get raffle tickets from shopping. And not once have I been lucky and won. Unfortunately, I don't have the luck for that.

My friend, of course those raffles are supervised by a DTI representative. Maybe you have not just seen that part where the DTI representative was acknowledged.
It's a very big mall, that to risk not having a DTI representative on the raffle draw would compromise their mall.

I know that there is just a small chance for a big company such as SM to conduct scam promos. But who knows? Almost every one will do cheat if they have a chance to. Remember Pag-ibig Fund's scam loans? They are a big company but they lend a loan to bogus member, so although there is a slim chance of these promos being scam, it is not impossible. Thanks for your assurance anyway! :)

Shopping malls come up with promotion sales often, summer, winter, special festival times, and so on. Oh yes, the malls get so crowded with shoppers running not to miss the sales opportunities. Some are really very attractive, but so are just usual.

Hello,
Yes, i think so, my brother won a consolation prize last year in SM North Edsa and he got his notification from Sm management. I think it was mentioned on the promo mechanics, just read those fine lines and you'll find about having the raffle under the supervision of DTI representatives. SM is a company that has good corporate image and they will not destroy it just for a simple raffle promotions.

That's exactly what I'm wanting to hear! Someone who knows someone who've won a prize. I was just reluctant because I knew a lot of people joining these promos without ever winning a single one of them. I also am fond of joining these raffles but unfortunately, I've got nothing as well. Thanks for this information! :)
