having problems with my samsung phone!!

my galaxy phone is in shambles! 1. it is not accepting calls. it would say that the phone/number is busy. my android phone is blocking all my calls! - i tried to put the sim card on another phone and it can accept calls! 2. my phone screen won't lock even if there is a lock screen set up. 3. my phone options went missing! its like something went wrong with the phone and its killing me... i am not able to do anything! oh geesh... anyone who might have answers please help!!!

Hi Chiyosan. Does your phone have warranty? Maybe you can bring it to the electronics store and ask them to repair it or maybe change it to a newer one. I sometimes hate Samsung mobile phones. I had several samsung phones before and I always had some problems with it,like battery or it would always freeze.

Really? this is my third samsung phone, first was the flip top phone, next is samsung slide = this has caused me a lot of problems, really because the slide is always broken... and now i have a samsung android phone. I can say its good.. but well.. it sure is sometimes not functioning as fast as it should. :D

My mobile phone has a warranty, not guarenty. My friend says "Chines mobile phone emits much radiation than any other mobile phone.

it was, i guess about the settings and i somehow deleted some data required. hahay... thank you for your response. i had my phone's reset to factory settings. =(

mostly it's issue of operating system. formatting your phone will solve the issue I guess.. it's not 3 different problem its just one.. something system error.. so I suggest you to backup all the data and then format your phone..

i have backed up my applications, and well problem is the samsung messaging is too jurassic for me, and i need to go to market to get apps to my phone when i reset all phone data. thank you for the advice. it is really the system error. hopefully it gets fixed with the resetting. Thank you for your response

Hi chiyosan,can you access the settings menu if yes try to restore it the factory settings..your mobile will be restored to the original settings which you have seen when you have bought your mobile.If it does not work for you then you need to take it to the technician to repair it.

i am afraid that if i do this my downloaded applications would be removed, or erased from the phone and i have to start doing things/ downloading stuffs again.. =(

Your phone needs to reinstallation of software/OS. Mostly Samsung phones develop software problems frequently. My friend also had a Samsung dual SIM phone, suddenly it developed some problem. It restarts automatically and never stopped restarting, I mean it goes off and on continuously. Finally we removed the battery to stop it. Then we had taken the phone to the Samsung service centre where they installed a new OS. After that it's working, but still we couldn't send any text messages. It says "access denied" or something like that. I'm not sure about your Galaxy, but I have seen 3 or more other Samsung phones that develop OS problems.

I think i have deleted some setting data in my history/RAM software. It had somehow made my phone lose the screen lock, and it kept me from receiving calls. =( it would always say my number is busy, and in my view it is always a missed call!

I also found other problem in Nokia set. Even though Simcard is inserted it says "There is no sim card". When we reinsert the sim , it is O.K at that time but some times it also says "There is no sim card".!

oh, this kind of issue is sometimes due to old sim card unit. what you can do, you get a mongol eraser and slightly "erase" the sim card surface. it should remove some dust, dirt or anything that would block the phone from being able to read your sim card. =) it should help a great deal! :D

Dear friend, I know how uncomfortable you would feel now. I feel it would be better to get to the Samsung authorised servicing center, before we take it our self a mess of thoughts. May be if they do it free of cost or if there is any replacement warranttee I hope the earlier the better. Hope it would be just small problems. I wish you all the best soon the probelms of your phone get rectified and to have grand phone as you wanted....
