I am thinking of getting into a new hobby and i know that this one could be expensive if i allow myself to get involved too much. I'm thinking of getting into lomography. Nowadays people just love the convenience of having a digital camera but lately i see more art in using the old ones. There are a lot of toy cameras now that can create great photos like vignette, black and white, etc. The feel of having it developed using a camera film is so exciting. It's like taking a shot without following any rules and then you'll be surprised of what you're gonna get right after it's developed. A lot of people are into this hobby now and i am thinking of starting this hobby soon. Got any hobbies that you enjoy so much lately?

Hi Toni! I did not know about lomography till I read your post. I feel you could indulge in it, even if it is expensive. If it gives you a kind of enjoyment and satisfaction, you could forget about the monetary aspect. I would love to pursue this kind of hobby, provided I have ample time and money and right now I do not have either.

I did roam around the mall today and try to look for toy cameras but i couldn't see one at all. I guess there are not a lot of people who are into lomography here in my city. But i'm not worried though because i could get those toy cameras online at a cheaper price. So i'm saving up for that and for the film too and of course for the developing of those films.

You know the old cameras that we use before? The ones that need film and then we have it developed in the dark room? That is lomography. But the interesting part of lomography is that it's not like the colored films that we used to have before the digital cams came out. It's like the pictures that were developed during the 60s. So they look brownish, yellowish and a little bit darker and the colors are not vivid but they are very interesting.

To be honest, I do not have hobbies like this, however, confirm that the pastime that you want to do, in fact, could prove very expensive. But if you you have the chance, I see no reason why you should give it up.
