Hi Mylotters!! I have a pretty butt. I'm slim (not too slim). I have just a tiny bit of fat. In fact, my whole legs are a little fat and I do a lot of exercise. I play soccer, I'm in a volleyball team and I do some exercises at home, sometimes. But I just don't lose this fat in my lower body!!! Can you please help me by telling me a exercise or routine that can be efective?? I care a lot for my body and I don't like this. I tried this summer so many times to lose weight. I did P90X and all that but I don't lose more weight than that that I have now... But the major problem is my lower body!! HELP

Is it fat or muscles? If you take the bike every day to go to work/school and it takes you 30-60 min your legs will be "fatter" too as when you walk or take the car. The fat legs will be gone as soon as you stop bicycling. What kind of excercise are you doing? Anything that has effect on your lower body? If not big chance that lower body is yours and it's your dna that gives it to you. If so the only thing you can do is liposuction. That will work for some time, till your dna decides to give you back your fat where it according to your dna belongs.

I advice you not to think too much about weighing scales. You can't rely on them as a piece of evaluation tool alone. Try abdominal exercises and other positions. search the internet for them, i'm sure they have plenty to show you.

Did you do the P90X program all the way through? And did you do the classic program or the lean program? If you did the classic, then maybe the lean might work better as it is more focused on cardio workouts which means a lot of lower body movement. You could also do the program again as it will build on any work that you have done already. I have seen people get better results the second time that they did it than they did the first time. I did P90X last year before I moved house and keep meaning to do it again, but I do not have as much room in this house as I did in the last. A friend recently gave me a book titled "Convict Conditioning" and pointed me in the direction of this website. http://www.beastskills.com/ Maybe bike riding would also be good for these areas, but that may make them too muscular instead of toning down the size of the areas. I had a look at the above photos and the guy in the photos in the last link lives near me! I recognise the newspaper that he is holding.

Maybe you could do sit-ups or curl-ups. I think these are best routines for your lower body. If this won't work, then you should an expert fitness instructor to guide you better.
