Ok I Just started to send my son to a daycare and on the first he came home with a cold. I have been trying to get rid of this cold for about a week now. He has only been to the daycare twice and he is not gong back because they dopped him DHS tod them they had too many kids sothey had to drop a few. Any how he gets up probably four time in the midde of the night because his nose just gets gets so stuffed u. He puts up a ght for me to clean his nose and to take his medicine. He just seems so sad and not acting too much like himself. Does anyone have any idea how yo can get rid of a cold fast for a six month old? I just want him to feel better.

Boost your kid with vitamin C and fruits that are rich of vitamin C. Your kid might be lacking of vitamin C that is why his immune system is not giving proper care and shield of his health.

There isn't anything you can really do but give him medication make sure he sleeps a lot if you can get him to. One thing you can do is get a humidifier that will help with the congestions. Babies just got to ride out there colds. Its never fun for us the parents but there isn't much a doctor can do since they are so little there isn't much medication that will help them with out hurting them. My daughter is going through a really tough cold right now a really bad cough and there isn't much I can do for her but just give her some medication 3 times a day. She wakes up in the middle of the night and it takes me about and hour but some times if I just give in when she is sick she will sleep much better right next to me with not a cough or sneeze when she is sick.

I remember when my daughters are still babies, their pediatrician instructed me to buy a nasal drop to ease the stuffed nose. I guess it's best to take the baby to the doctor to be sure, maybe he have allergies that needed to be treated.
